Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may identify a multi-radio access technology (multi-RAT) dual connectivity (DC) (MR-DC) capable cell. The UE may assign a priority to the MR-DC capable cell based at least in part on whether information indicating whether dual connectivity is supported for the UE in a tracking area (TA) is available, the information indicating whether dual connectivity is supported for the UE in the TA, whether system information block (SIB) information indicating frequency bands supported by a network for MR-DC operation cell is available, or MR-DC connectivity information indicating whether at least one frequency band is available to support MR-DC operation. The UE may perform a cell selection procedure or a cell reselection procedure based at least in part on the priority assigned to the MR-DC capable cell. Numerous other aspects are described.

An example method, apparatus and computer program product is configured to transmit a network identifier associated with a hosted virtual network to one or more allowed user equipment in a coverage area via a radio access network in the coverage area. The UE considers additional criteria such as relay load other than purely radio signal quality (e.g., RSRP) criteria. The relay load can serve different purpose for relay UE and remote UE. The relay load can be the criteria for UE to become a relay UE or not. It can be the criteria for a remote UE to select another UE as its relay UE.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the communication field and discloses beacon sending and receiving methods and corresponding apparatuses for reducing hardware overheads and weights of a network device such as a satellite or a high-altitude platform and a terminal device such as a ground station. A method is provided that includes determining one or more subcarriers that are in a first frequency band, the first frequency band being one of N frequency bands included in a first beacon resource of the first send node, N being an integer greater than or equal to 1. The first send node sends a beacon signal on the one or more subcarriers. Correspondingly, a first receive node receives the beacon signal on the one or more subcarriers. The first receive node parses the beacon signal.

Abstract: Various embodiments herein disclose coordinating neighbor discovery between access points (APs) with auxiliary radios and APs without auxiliary radios. A corresponding wireless controller comprises a processor and a memory storing instructions that, when executed, cause the controller to perform operations. The operations comprise grouping APs into a first group of more flexible APs and a second group of less flexible APs and querying the second group of APs for a corresponding broadcast interval. The operations further comprise identifying when the second group of APs is scheduled to broadcast parameters, and a broadcast interval for each of the second group of APs and generating a schedule based on the scheduled broadcast and the broadcast interval for each of the second group of APs. The operations additionally comprise providing the generated schedule to the first group of APs and the second group of APs.

Abstract: A system and method to improve latency in a Bluetooth mesh network is disclosed. In many Bluetooth mesh networks, devices may not be available due to power saving mode or participation in other networks. This behavior slows the propagation of packets through the Bluetooth mesh network. To address this shortcoming, the method includes transmitting a periodic advertisement from a first, or originating, device. Contained within that periodic advertisement is schedule information associated with the transmission of mesh packets, which are typically transmitted at random times. The first device later transmits mesh packets in accordance with the schedule. This is referred to as a synchronized listening window configuration. Further, other devices in the mesh network also implement the synchronized listening configuration. In this way, packets are able to propagate through the mesh network more quickly.
