摘要: Visual and audio communication interface for a perishable integrity indicator system which includes a RFID transponder and perishable integrity sensor. A perishable integrity indicator system includes a RFID transponder and a perishable integrity sensor. The RFID transponder includes a RF integrated circuit coupled with an antenna. The sensor monitors the time and temperature of the perishable. A freshness determining module receives time- and temperature-dependent measurement data from the perishable integrity sensor and determines a current freshness status. A communications interface to the RFID transponder permits a RFID reader to retrieve current freshness status data corresponding to the freshness status determined by the freshness determining module. The system further includes a power management module. The visual and audio communication interface provides a communications means for sending sensor alerts, sensor setup and history as either a supplement to the RF communication or as an alternative to RF when RF is either not available or not able to communicate.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices and computer readable media for adaptive configuration of multistatic harmonic tag backscatter. A network device transmits, to an illuminator for a passive tag, a request for transmitting an activation signal to a passive tag at a primary frequency and a first transmission power. The network device receives, from the illuminator, information about a harmonic frequency of a harmonic of the activation signal back-scattered from the passive tag, a received level of the harmonic and a distance between the illuminator and the passive tag. The network device selects at least one reader for the passive tag. The network device configures the illuminator to transmit the activation signal to the passive tag at the primary frequency. The network device configures the at least one reader to receive the harmonic of the activation signal at the harmonic frequency.

摘要: An airport baggage handling system includes a sorting conveyor system transporting baggage pieces to sorting targets on conveyor routes with switch points, being settable in conveying directions and having a superordinate control system and control units for switch points. A departure processing system registers a baggage piece, accepts baggage piece attributes and provides identification data of the baggage piece. A baggage notification system forms a baggage piece notification from the identification data and attributes and transmits it to the control system. The control system produces a notification list from notifications and a sorting plan with identification data-sorting target assignments and determines route tables with sorting target-conveying direction assignments for switch points. An auxiliary handling system accepts entered attributes and identification data from the departure processing system, forms the notification and transmits it to the control system, permitting sorting conveyor system operation upon baggage notification system failure.

摘要: Disclosed herein are tracking and analysis devices, systems, and methods for optimizing workflow operations using the tracking and analysis devices and a plurality of movable and fixed tracking beacons. The movable tracking beacons may be configured for secure attachment to, or incorporation within, mobile workflow assets, while the fixed tracking beacons may be placed around the workflow environment in a grid-pattern. The tracking and analysis devices, as well as the movable and fixed tracking beacons, may each comprise any combination of a: battery, a low frequency Bluetooth module, an accelerometer, a Wi-Fi module, a USB hub, and/or an RFID reader/scanner. The tracking and analysis device may track and identify a workflow asset's location within a workflow environment within a range of about 2-3 feet by receiving and comparing relative signal strength of low frequency Bluetooth signals received from the movable tracking beacons and/or the plurality of fixed tracking beacons.
