摘要: Disclosed is a method implemented with a head-mounted device for identifying a distinct device within a given range distance of the head-mounted device, the head-mounted device includes a receiver adapted to receive wireless signals and a memory adapted to store data. The method includes: a tag data receiving step during which tag data identifying at least one electronic wireless tag placed on the distinct device are received by the receiver of the head-mounted device; a storing step during which the stored data including the tag data are stored in the memory of the head-mounted device; and an identification step during which the device is identified based on the stored data.

摘要: In some embodiments, a first indication that a first antenna, of multiple antennas, has received data from a first tag coupled to an asset is received. The antennas are coupled to an interior housing within a logistics vehicle. A second indication that a second antenna, of the antennas, has received the data from the first tag is also received. Based at least in part on the receiving of the first indication and the receiving of the second indication, a location within the logistics vehicle that asset is located in is detected. In response to the detecting of the location, a control signal is transmitted that causes a user device or apparatus to indicate that the asset is located within an area associated with the location.

摘要: There is provided an item management system including: first wireless devices installed in respective areas; a second wireless device attached to an item; third wireless devices carried by respective users; at least one reading apparatus capable of reading identification information from a wireless device; a history obtaining unit that obtains a history of positions of the item based on results of reading of identification information from the first and second wireless devices, and a history of movement of each user based on results of reading of identification information from the first and third wireless devices; and a generation unit that generates actual utilization data associating the item with a user who has utilized the item based on comparison between the history of positions of the item and the history of movement of one or more users.

摘要: A mobile inventory transportation unit (MITU) in a communication network is disclosed. The communication network may comprise the MITU, a transportation system, a first and a second central system, in communication with each other, the MITU comprising a housing, an inventory storage device, a power device, a drive device, a navigation device, a sensing device, and a control device. The MITU may be configured to receive inventory demands and handle them based on analyzing its own inventory, the transportation system may be configured to physically receive and transport the MITU, the second central system may be configured to determine an inventory demand at a second or more location and transmit the same to the first central system or the MITU, and the first central system or the MITU may be configured to schedule the movement of the MITU and control the delivery of the MITU to a final destination.

The system may include: a tag reader configured to determine a type of an object, the object including a tag readable by the tag reader; a load cell configured to detect the presence of the object on a platform, the object having a known weight; and the platform including at least one face for receiving the object. The platform is communicatively coupled to the load cell and the tag reader. The presence of the object is detected by the load cell housed in the platform when the object is position on the at least one face of the platform. The type of the object is determined by the tag reader housed in the platform when the object is in physical proximity to the platform.

摘要: A wireless tag reading system including a frame, two or more antennas installed to the frame, and a turntable rotatable with respect to the frame. The turntable is adapted to support thereon an object containing one or more electronic tags. The turntable is adapted to rotate the object with respect to the two or more antennas, so that at least one of the two or more antennas is configured to read the one or more electronic tags at more than one distance, orientation, or phase. By rotating the object to vary the distance and/or orientation from the tags to the antennas, all the tags on the object can be scanned and correctly read by the wireless tag reader.
