    摘要: A system and method for providing an electronic label for an article, such as a manufactured product. The label includes a substrate adapted to affix to the article and a battery component provided on the substrate. An electronic circuit is provided on the substrate wherein the electronic circuit is provided with an identification number and a location determining component. A switch component is further provided that couples the electronic circuit and the battery component for energizing the electronic circuit, such that when energized, the electronic circuits is caused to transmit an electronic signal containing the circuit identification number and location information associated with the electronic label to a remotely located computer for performing analytics on the received data.

The pin is movable within the cavity between a first position and a second position. A spring is disposed in the cavity and configured to bias the pin toward the first position. The container includes a cover movable between an open position and a closed position, the cover having a recess configured to receive the pin. The cover further includes an angled surface configured to contact and move the pin toward the second position to compress the spring as the cover is closed. The recess of the cover is configured to align with the cavity of the container portion when the cover is closed such that the spring moves the pin to the first position and the pin is received in the recess to lock the cover in closed.

    摘要: The disclosure describes a method and system for luggage management involving simulated baggage information messaging. Disclosed systems may include a processor and a memory storing instructions cause the at least one processor to: check in a luggage item of a passenger with a flight; and generate a simulated baggage information message using a passenger name record (PNR) number as a temporary unique identifier. The simulated baggage information message may be compatible with IATA B-Type messages. Additionally, the system may assign, by a remote simulated Departure Control System (DCS), an International Air Transport Association (IATA) compatible bag tag number that has a non-flying airline carrier code configured to be processed through an airline baggage handling system. Additional systems may populate the simulated baggage information message with the assigned bag tag number and merge the simulated baggage information message with an airline baggage source message associated with the checked in luggage item.
