摘要： The present invention discloses a composite ribbed expanded polystyrene pallet and a manufacturing method thereof, comprising a body and a base support, said base support clads the sides and bottom of the body, said body is made of expanded polystyrene, said comprises a pallet platform and plural supporting feet. Through the above mentioned way, the present invention utilizes light-weight polystyrene to make the body, the surface is covered with a base support of high-strength engineering plastic film, and reinforcing ribs are additionally arranged inside the body through special process. The pallet of the present invention has good load bearing performance, economy and practicability. The logistics cost also can be reduced greatly. Therefore, the composite ribbed expanded polystyrene pallet and the manufacturing method thereof have broad market prospects in popularization.

The pallet (20) includes removable wheels or casters (36) and two parallel rails or guides (33) projecting from the bottom surface (26) and a perimeter wall (22, 23) projecting from the upper surface (25). To the extent a forklift is used, the guides (33) provide a side-exposed space or opening between the wheels (36) permitting insertion of the forklift tines. The cover (60) and pallet tray (70) include side openings (63, 73) to align with the space or openings below the pallet (20) base (21) and between the guides (33) so that forklifts and their tines may be used with the covered assembly (10).

A rolling bearing is arranged above the bridging member and a band can be wound around the bearing and the bridging member together. Thus, since both a sideslip and jumping of the rolling bearing can be prevented without covers, the container is more superior in usability to a conventional container requiring a cover, and the stacking height can be suppressed as well.
