摘要: In one embodiment, a modular bi-level storage and transport assembly (MTA) includes an upper rigid layer and a lower rigid layer and an adjustable support mechanism, coupled to the upper and lower rigid layers. Furthermore, the support mechanism is operable to expand to increase the distance between the layers, expanding the MTA and forming a space for a containment vessel, and to contract to reduce the distance between the layers, collapsing the MTA.

The actuating attachment can be attached to a conveyance vehicle, such as a forklift, or built in to an automated guided vehicle.

摘要: A support structure for supporting vehicles one above the other during transport or storage, the structure comprising a base frame having four corner posts extending generally vertically when in use to support a separate upper frame on which an upper vehicle can be supported in an elevated transport position, and one or more separate lower frames arranged to be positioned within the base frame when in use on which a lower vehicle can be supported. The upper frame is guided up the corner posts when the upper vehicle is raised to the elevated transport position. The base frame, upper and lower frames are transportable in a collapsed state when not in use by folding the corner posts down and collapsing the base frame, upper frame and lower frame so that they occupy less space with the upper, and lower and base frames in a nested configuration.

摘要: A transportable container comprises: a sidewall; a front wall; a floor; and a subfloor, wherein the subfloor is removably attached to a bottom of the floor, wherein the subfloor comprises: two or more rails, wherein the two or more rails matingly engage with two or more hoist rails of a roll-off truck; and two or more rollers. The roll-off truck can include a system for loading, transporting, and unloading the container and subfloor. The system can be a cable/winch system or a hook/lift system. The subfloor can be removably attached to a floor of the container via welding or spot welding, fastening, bracketing, or bolting. The container can be any type of container that is not capable of being loaded, transported, and unloaded using a roll-off truck.

摘要: A system including devices and methods for transporting or storing materials uses slidable containers, or modules. The modules have recessed wheels that facilitate sliding movement when placed on tracks. The use of tracks allows for precise placement of the modules in close proximity to each other and the walls of a vessel or facility they are placed in. The modules may be disassembled for easy, compact storage or transport. The modules may be used with a lift platform adapted to accommodate the modules and tracks or rails for engaging the recessed wheels. By using closely aligned tracks, the transport module may be used to maximize efficient use of space when transporting cargo.

摘要: A wind turbine nacelle configured for mounting on a wind turbine tower and for supporting a rotor assembly, the nacelle comprising at least a first and a second nacelle module. The first nacelle module comprises a first frame structure and a main bearing system for a main shaft of the rotor assembly, and the second nacelle module comprises a second frame structure and a drive train system for the wind turbine. When the nacelle is mounted on the wind turbine tower, the main bearing system is supported by the wind turbine tower, and the drive train system is attached to the main bearing such that the weight of the drive train system is transferred to the main bearing system and thereby to the wind turbine tower. Further, the first frame structure is configured to support the main bearing system during transportation and prior to mounting of the nacelle, and the second frame structure is configured to support the drive train system during transportation and prior to mounting of the nacelle, and the first and second frame structures form a load carrying structure of a first and a second shipping freight container such that the first and second nacelle module can be transported as shipping freight containers. When the nacelle is mounted on the wind turbine tower, the first and second frame structures may be placed side by side in a direction along a rotational axis of the wind turbine rotor and may be oriented such as to have a length extending transversely to a rotational axis of the wind turbine rotor.

摘要: A method of transporting fluid containing tanks and of off loading the fluid contents of the tanks. Providing a frame having a base with a floor, a front, a rear, and upper and lower end portions, the frame including a plurality of side walls extending upwardly from the base and including at least left and right side walls. Mounting a plurality of gates to the frame, each spanning between two corner columns, each gate being movable between open and closed positions, the open position of each gate providing an open doorway, the gates enabling a fork lift to place a selected one of the tanks on the floor by moving the selected load module laterally through a said open doorway. The floor having a plurality of load holding positions. Placing one or more tanks and a work platform on said floor, wherein the work platform has a work surface and a storage area, and a folding staircase that is movable between upper and lower positions, wherein in the lower position stairs are provided that enable a user to climb the stairs and occupy the platform work surface and wherein in the upper position the stairs are positioned above the work surface. The gates enabling removal of any one of the tanks or the work platform laterally when a gate is opened and without removing any other tank. Transporting the frame from a beginning location to an ending location, and wherein the work platform remains on the frame.
