    Abstract: A driverless transport vehicle, a conveying system, and a method for transporting piece goods. The driverless transport vehicle overcomes a climbing section equipped with a primary side of an energy transmission device. The driverless transport vehicle, which can be moved individually and autonomously on a conveying plane, has a secondary side for energy pick-up in order, assisted by the energy pick-up, to overcome a height difference of the climbing section and/or a transition between the conveying plane and the climbing section. The formation of a connection between the primary side and the secondary side and the overcoming of the climbing section and of the transition between the conveying plane and the climbing section take place at a throughput speed without a slowing-down.

    Abstract: The application concerns an apparatus for inspecting luggage, including a tubular frame having a plurality of pairs of lateral openings, the tubular frame being suitable for receiving a plurality of containers in line with the pairs of openings, each of the containers having two opposing faces and a plurality of juxtaposed and superimposed locations that are freely accessible through the two opposing faces, each of the locations being suitable for receiving a piece of luggage provided with an information recording medium containing information relating to the piece of luggage. The apparatus further includes a locating device including photoelectric detection grids installed across the lateral openings, respectively, and the position of the location in the container is recorded when the photoelectric detection grid is crossed.

    Abstract: A device for automatic detection of whether an item is correctly routed is provided, the item including at least one radio frequency tag, wherein the device includes an RF communication mechanism for receiving at least one reading from the RF tag, said device being adapted to be arranged at a read point in proximity of the conveying mechanism, which conveying mechanism is operable to transport the item towards a destination, wherein the device is configured to extract identification and/or destination information from the reading received from the item on the conveying mechanism crossing past the device and to verify whether the item is correctly routed. Also, provided is a method for automatic detection of whether an item is correctly routed.
