Abstract: The invention discloses a liquid quantifying device which comprises a base body and a liquid quantifying area arranged on the base body; the liquid quantifying area is provided with a preset volume, two ends of the liquid quantifying area are respectively provided with a liquid quantitative inlet and a liquid quantitative outlet, the liquid flows into the liquid quantifying area from the liquid quantitative inlet and reaches the liquid quantitative outlet after the liquid quantifying area is filled; and a liquid identification device is arranged at a relevant position of the liquid quantitative outlet and used for identifying the liquid reaching the liquid quantitative outlet. The invention also discloses a use of the liquid quantifying device in a microfluidic chip. The invention can improve the accuracy of quantification and detection.

Abstract: A peptide synthesis instrument can be used for small scale peptide synthesis. The instrument can include several unique features, including a compression style reaction vessel permitting quick setup of the reaction vessel, a double reaction vessel system permitting efficient mixing without loss of solvent or solvent-to-resin contact, gravity-fed heated reservoirs establishing a fixed volume for delivery to the reaction vessel, fume-free solvent addition permitting solvent addition to fixed bottles, and an improved amino acid manifold assembly which reduces the number of components and increases the ease of use of the instrument. Each of these features improve upon the current state of the art in solid phase automated peptide synthesizers.

Abstract: A measuring a closed-loop fluid transfer system is provided that includes a measuring adapter having a first end and a second ends, and a chamber located there between and configured to hold a volume of fluid. The measuring adapter includes a first receiving valve assembly located at the first end of the measuring adapter. The first receiving valve assembly includes a receiving valve member, at least a portion of which is separable from a portion of the first receiving valve assembly. This creates an opening that provides fluid communication to the chamber when a force is exerted on the receiving valve member of the first receiving valve assembly. A second valve assembly located at the second end of the measuring adapter includes a valve member. At least a portion of the valve member of the second valve assembly is separable from a portion of the second valve assembly to create an opening that provides fluid communication to the chamber.

Abstract: An exhaust valve assembly for a bottle attachment apparatus for handling liquids has a valve housing which forms a valve chamber having an inlet and an outlet, an exhaust valve body disposed on the inlet in the valve chamber, and a safety valve body disposed on the outlet in the valve chamber. The exhaust valve body is biased toward an exhaust valve seat, counter to the flow direction of the liquid and the safety valve body is biased toward a safety valve seat in the flow direction of the liquid. The safety valve seat is integrally molded on the valve housing.

Abstract: An external metering valve disposed on a gas fuel tank including an outlet rod is provided. The outlet rod includes an outlet orifice at a front end thereof. The external metering valve includes a metering valve and a gas guiding member. The metering valve includes a metering chamber. The gas guiding member includes a communication pipe, a blocking portion on the communication pipe, a discharging channel and an inlet orifice. The gas guiding member has a sealing outlet position and a metering outlet position. At the sealing outlet position, the outlet orifice outputs a gas and stores the gas in the metering chamber. At the metering outlet position, the blocking portion seals the outlet orifice through an airtight ring, and outputs the gas stored in the metering chamber through the inlet orifice and the discharging channel.

Abstract: Disclosed is a liquid medication dispenser that can be removably attached to various types of bottles or containers. In one embodiment, the dispenser includes a cylindrical reservoir that tapers from a lower end to an upper end thereof. The lower end includes a cap that can be removably attached to a bottle. The upper end includes a lid that can open and close when actuated via a lever on the exterior of the reservoir. The interior of the reservoir includes a spherical valve having a port that extends the diameter thereof. The valve can be rotated via a knob so that the port can be aligned vertically or horizontally, wherein the interior of the bottle is in fluid communication with the reservoir when the port is aligned vertically and the interior of the bottle is blocked from the reservoir when the port is aligned horizontally.
