Abstract:
A measuring a closed-loop fluid transfer system is provided that includes a measuring adapter having a first end and a second ends, and a chamber located there between and configured to hold a volume of fluid. The measuring adapter includes a first receiving valve assembly located at the first end of the measuring adapter. The first receiving valve assembly includes a receiving valve member, at least a portion of which is separable from a portion of the first receiving valve assembly. This creates an opening that provides fluid communication to the chamber when a force is exerted on the receiving valve member of the first receiving valve assembly. A second valve assembly located at the second end of the measuring adapter includes a valve member. At least a portion of the valve member of the second valve assembly is separable from a portion of the second valve assembly to create an opening that provides fluid communication to the chamber.
Abstract:
Provided are a flowrate measuring type viscous liquid dispenser and dispensing method, in which a viscous liquid is dispensed by measuring a flowrate of the viscous liquid in real time so as to accurately control the flowrate of the viscous liquid.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides devices and methods for measuring and dispensing material from containers. Such materials include dry goods such as foodstuffs, agricultural materials and other dry materials that are used. Other materials including liquids can also be measured and dispensed. The devices and methods can help to prevent product spoilage and limit exposure of products to the environment and contamination. In addition, accurate and reproducible measurement of materials can be achieved.
Abstract:
A dosing device is described, in which a predetermined amount of a material such as a concentrated fluid can be dispensed from the device by finger pressure. In one embodiment, the device includes a shuttle that can move between first and second positions. In the second position, fluid can escape from a dosing chamber.
Abstract:
An automatic fluid soap dispensing apparatus and method comprising a dispensing spout, housing operatively connected to the dispensing spout and the housing adapted to removably receive and hold a fluid soap containing reservoir module in communication with the dispensing spout. The reservoir module has a central axis, and includes a pump mechanism and delivery tube mounted on the reservoir module in alignment with the central axis. The dispensing tube is adapted to move in the dispensing spout when the pump mechanism is actuated.
Abstract:
An adapter suitable for connecting a liquid measuring device to a variety of liquid containers of different size and shape without necessitating the use of different adapters. The adapter includes a sleeve portion which is fitted over the mouth and neck of the liquid container, there being affected a seal between the liquid container and the adapter. The opposite end of the adapter is attachable to the inlet of a liquid measuring device.
