    Abstract: A forced air supply combustion apparatus sucks combustion air from an air supply port. An air filter for collecting foreign matters in the air is mounted on an air-supply-port-formed plate in an insertable and drawable manner. A filter frame is arranged to be brought into close contact with a peripheral part of the air supply port in a state of having mounted the air filter in position. The air-supply-port side edge parts are provided with retaining pieces to clamp a filter side frame part in the Z-axis direction against the side edge parts. A distance in the Z-axis direction between the air-supply-port side edge parts, and the retaining pieces is set larger than a dimension, in the Z-axis direction, of the filter side frame part, and is set smaller than a sum of the dimensions to be obtained by adding to said dimensions the projection height of the projections provided in a projecting manner.

    Abstract: A water heating apparatus includes a burner, a heat exchanger for heating hot and cold water with use of heat from the burner, a scale detector for detecting occurrence of scale clogging in the heat exchanger, a notifying unit for notifying an error when the scale detector detects occurrence of a scale greater than or equal to a predetermined amount, and a controller performing a control of allowing the notifying unit to notify an error and prohibiting combustion operation of the burner when the scale detector detects occurrence of a scale greater than or equal to the predetermined amount. The controller is configured to start a cleaning mode for cleaning inside the heat exchanger when the controller detects shifting operation to the cleaning mode after the combustion operation of the burner is prohibited.

    Abstract: A forced convection fin tube condensing heat exchanger for supplying heat includes a shell, burner and fin tubes bundle. The burner is at the top of the shell, circular fin tubes bundle installed around the burner tightly, circularly and coaxially. The flue channel which is formed by the shell and a row of fin tubes bundle is below the burner. The flue flows along the flue channel to flue outlet. There are front and rear water manifolds at the two ends of the fin tubes. Water baffles inside the rear water manifold divide the rear water manifold into water inlet and outlet areas. The water enters the small portion of circular fin tubes bundle from water inlet area, through the front water manifold, back to the water outlet area via the main portion of the circular fin tubes bundle. The use of bent fin tube to improves efficiency.

    Abstract: In an indoor installation type combustion apparatus in which an upper surface of the exterior case has formed therein: a cylindrical exhaust connection port which is in communication with an exhaust duct and which is connectable to an exhaust pipe; a first cylindrical air supply connection port which is connectable to an air supply pipe of double-pipe system containing therein the exhaust pipe and which encloses the exhaust connection port; and a second cylindrical air supply connection port which is connectable to an air supply pipe of twin-pipe system which is separate from, and independent of, the exhaust pipe, a low-cost apparatus is provided in which the air flowing in from whichever the first and the second air supply connection ports will be treated by one and the same supply-air filter. An air supply box which is in communication with both the first and the second air supply connection ports is disposed. An outlet opening is formed at one place of the air supply box so that the air flowing in from an arbitrary air supply connection port between the first and the second air supply connection ports is discharged into an inner space of the exterior case. A supply-air filter to collect foreign matters in the air is mounted in the outlet opening.

    Abstract: In a heat source apparatus in which an electric component having an electrode and an insulator is mounted on a side plate of a combustion box, in a state in which a packing is interposed between a flange portion of the insulator and the side plate, by fastening a clamp which overlaps with an outer surface of the flange portion, to the side plate, the temperature rise in the clamp is restrained.Upper and lower water tubes constituting a part of a water jacket are disposed on the side plate on upper and lower sides of the position of mounting the electrode component. In case the upper and lower water tubes are disposed on an inside surface of the side plate, the upper and lower parts of the clamp are brought into contact with those disposed positions of the water tubes which are in upper and lower portions of the side plate and, in case the upper and lower water tubes are disposed on an outside of the side plate, the upper and lower parts of the clamp are brought into contact with the upper and lower water tubes.
