摘要: A heat exchanger (10) is manufactured from a single piece of heat-conducting material and comprises fins (20) for guiding a fluid and for transferring heat between the fluid and the heat exchanger, wherein between the fins are provided transverse fins (24) which extend in a direction substantially transversely of the fins over a distance which is less than the distance between the fins and in a direction substantially transversely of the flow direction of the fluid, wherein the transverse fins are arranged alternately close to or on mutually adjacent fins in order to cause a fluid flowing between the fins to follow a meandering path between the fins, wherein the lateral direction lies substantially perpendicularly of the fins.

摘要: Disclosed is a control system for controlling a plurality of fluidly and operably connected water heaters to meet a hot water demand such that overall efficiency is maximized and usage disparity between water heaters is minimized. There is further disclosed a method for detecting a small system demand in said network by adjusting the setting of each flow limiting valve of each water heater. There is still further disclosed a method for enabling seamless addition or removal of a heater in service and heating load distribution to water heaters.

摘要: A heat exchanger A1 includes a partition 19 partitioning the space 35 surrounded by a coiled tube 60 at an axially intermediate portion of a housing 2 into a first and a second regions 35a and 35b and partitioning the coiled tube 60 into a first and a second heat exchanging portions HT1 and HT2. The combustion gas supplied to the first region 35a flows to a combustion gas path 36 by passing through a clearance 61 of the first heat exchanging portion HT1 and then passes through a clearance 61 of the second heat exchanging portion HT2. With this structure, the amount of heat recovery is increased, and the heat exchange efficiency is enhanced while simplifying the overall structure of the heat exchanger A1 and reducing the size of the heat exchanger.

摘要: A heat exchanger A1 includes a coiled tube 60 including a plurality of loops 60a, and a space 35 surrounded by the coiled tube 60 and having an end closed by a partition 19. The heat exchanger is so designed that combustion gas flows from the space 35 to a combustion gas path 36 by passing through clearances 61 of the loops 60a of the coiled tube 60. The loops 60a are made of a tube having a thickness t1 and a width L1 which is larger than the thickness, so that the amount of heat recovery when the combustion gas passes through the clearances 61 is large. Therefore, the heat exchange efficiency is enhanced while simplifying the overall structure of the heat exchanger A1 and reducing the size of the heat exchanger.

摘要: An air-proportionality type boiler is provided. Since the air-proportionality type boiler directly controls a current proportionality gas valve according to an amount of air by using a low-price AC air blower, a low-price current proportionality gas valve and a low-price airflow sensor, a gas supply amount can be adjusted with respect to all ranges of the airflow amount. Also, an appropriate calorie required for proportionally controlling a present circulation water temperature to a set temperature, can be supplied. The boiler can be safely ignited to perform a combustion operation under the optimal condition although abnormal weathers and conditions. Accordingly, since a combustion performance is enhanced, combustion efficiency is high and a fuel cost can be saved.

摘要: An efficient, compact boiler system providing both heating water for heating an enclosed space, such as a home, and domestic hot water for washing and similar purposes, has a limited fluid capacity primary heating coil within a combustion chamber. The coil supplies heated water to a larger capacity storage boiler located directly below the primary boiler and connected to it by header pipes which themselves form a manifold into which the primary coil is connected. The storage boiler distributes the heated water through the heating system. An elongated secondary heating coil within the boiler heats the domestic hot water supply by heat transfer from the boiler water. The return header pipe discharges heated water directly into the interior loop of the secondary coil to quickly heat the domestic hot water when the burner is "on".

摘要: A forced circulation heater equipped with a blower burner is provided with a horizontally extending exhaust gas duct and with a heat exchanger disposed within the exhaust gas duct. The heat exchanger is constructed as a plate block and includes upright water tubes. A storage vessel is disposed above the heat exchanger and heating system header connections and return connections extend directly into the storage vessel. The heat exchanger together with its upright water tubes is incorporated into the horizontally extending exhaust duct to extend over the entire cross section thereof with the tubes of the heat exchanger being connected to the storage vessel.
