摘要: An intermediate cylinder is disposed between an outer cylinder and an inner cylinder. The intermediate cylinder forms a passage between the inner cylinder and itself, through which a hydraulic fluid as an electrorheological fluid flows. The intermediate cylinder is supplied (applied) with a voltage through an electrode connector. The intermediate cylinder includes a ring member. The ring member is provided with an extending portion which extends toward the outer cylinder. The extending portion of the ring member is inserted with an electrode pin as an imparting unit for imparting a voltage to the intermediate cylinder.

The flange (12) has a plastics body (15) in which the fluid ducts (13, 14) are formed, and the flange (12) furthermore has metallic connecting elements (16, 17) which extend between the shock absorber tube (10) and the module tube (11) and by which the mechanically retentive connection between the shock absorber tube (10) and the module tube (11) is formed.

摘要: A vibration damper is provided for a vehicle, preferably for a motor vehicle, having a wheel carrier made of metal for rotatably receiving a wheel, a damper tube arrangement at least partly made of a fiber-reinforced plastic for forming a damper fluid volume, a piston which is guided in the damper tube arrangement and includes a piston rod. The damper tube arrangement is rigidly connected to the wheel carrier and the piston rod can be connected to a body of the vehicle. A wheel carrier fluid volume is formed in the wheel carrier and which is connected to the damper fluid volume. The fluid in the wheel carrier fluid volume is in direct contact with the metal of the wheel carrier in order to transfer heat.

摘要: A pneumatic spring strut assembly comprises a cylinder comprising a working end and a boosting chamber. The working end includes a first volume of gas and the boosting chamber includes a second volume of gas. A temperature control valve assembly is disposed in the interior volume separating the working end from the boosting chamber and includes an over-pressure valve configured to release the second volume of gas into the working end when the pressure within the boosting chamber increases above the normal pressure range of operation. A valve is disposed in the wall of the cylinder, in the working end thereof, and is configured to yield, to thereby vent the first volume of gas to atmosphere, when the pressure within the interior volume of the working end increases above the normal pressure range of operation.

The damper comprises a fluid chamber having a piston dividing the chamber into a compression and rebound sides, a reservoir in fluid communication with the compression side of the chamber, and an isolator disposed between the compression side and the reservoir, whereby the isolator obstructs fluid flow between the compression side and the reservoir. In one embodiment, a bypass provides a fluid path between the compression side and the isolator.
