摘要: A vibration module for applying vibrational tractions to a wearer's skin is presented. Use of the vibration module in headphones is illustrated for providing tactile sensations of low frequency for music, for massage, and for electrical recording and stimulation of the wearer. Damped, planar, electromagnetically-actuated vibration modules of the moving magnet type are presented in theory and reduced to practice, and shown to provide a substantially uniform frequency response over the range 40-200 Hz with a minimum of unwanted audio.

摘要: A shock absorber includes a gas spring cylinder containing a piston moveable between an extended position and a compressed position within the gas spring cylinder. A mechanical actuator is arranged whereby a bleed port is automatically closed when the gas spring is compressed to a predetermined position corresponding to a desired sag setting. In one embodiment, the position corresponds to a predetermined sag setting whereby the gas spring is partially compressed. In another embodiment, a proper sag setting is determined through the use of a processor and sensor that in one instance measure a position of shock absorber components to dictate a proper sag setting and in another instance calculate a pressure corresponding to a preferred sag setting.

摘要: The present invention addresses the problem of stabilizing the state of assembly of a seal member while allowing movement of a piston member in a direction that reduces one space inside a cylinder member with little resistance. The seal member includes a base portion located towards the one space, which is a first space inside the cylinder member, and an extending portion extending from the base portion toward the other space, which is the second space inside the cylinder member. The piston member is provided with a first holding portion that faces the base portion of the sealing member, a second holding portion that faces an extended edge of the extended portion of the sealing member, and a third holding portion that faces a held part formed on the inside of the extended portion of the seal member. A fluid passage is formed in the second holding portion.

The lifting device includes a linear actuator, a balancing unit, a drive unit connected to the linear actuator, and a movable section. The labelling unit is connected to the movable section. The linear actuator is connected to the movable section and arranged to control the position of the labelling unit. The balancing unit is arranged to counterbalance the gravitational force exerted on the linear actuator. The movable section of the lifting device includes an upper stand unit, and the lifting device further includes a lower stand unit. The upper stand unit is movably arranged in relation to the lower stand unit in the vertical direction.

The method proceeds with coupling the distal plate of the bellows assembly to a stem of a gas charging port on the end wall of the outer shell at a fixed axial position using a fixation component that engages the stem of the gas charging port.

摘要: A gas pressure spring is provided including a working cylinder which, together with a slidably mounted compensating piston, encloses a working chamber filled with a working medium. A slidably mounted working piston is fastened to a working rod. In the event of a temperature increase, a compensating medium in a compensating chamber expands. The compensating piston is acted upon by the pressure of the working medium and the pressure of the compensating medium) such that the volume of the working chamber is increased. The temperature dependency of the gas spring force should be reduced by a design which is as simple as possible. For this purpose, the compensating chamber is at least partially surrounded by the working rod. Thus, the compensating medium can be compactly accommodated, and the assembly of the gas spring is simplified.
