摘要: A control device and method of a bicycle automatic shock absorber are provided. The device includes a shock absorbing module and a controller. The shock absorbing module has a control unit electrically connected to a shock absorbing mode unit, a sensing unit, a damping unit and a first wireless transmission unit. The controller is electrically connected to a pressing unit, a second wireless transmission unit and a manual switching unit. The shock absorbing mode unit 12 has an automatic shock absorbing mode 120 and a manual shock absorbing mode 121. The control device for a bicycle automatic shock absorber provides an option of automatically adjusting the damping of the shock absorber according to road conditions through the wireless connection between the shock absorber module and the controller or manually adjust the damping of the shock absorber through the controller.

摘要: The invention relates to an electromagnetic shock absorber (ESA) with a shock absorbing unit having a rotor coupled with a conductive disc or drum, the system providing one or more transversely oriented magnetic fields by the shock absorbing unit generating eddy currents in the conductive disc or drum and exerting a Lorentz force opposite to the velocity of the conductive disc or drum; the rotor characterised by being in a conductive contact with an electric control circuit. The shock absorbing unit can be a double-acting unit, it can contain a magnetic element. It can provide translationally rotational movement. The ESA can be couplable or coupled with different moving means, with different vehicles. It can be fabricated from different materials. The ESA can be couplable or coupled with different mechanocomponents and/or electrocomponents. A method is proposed for operating the ESA to provide a shock absorbing effect and/or a propulsion effect.

摘要: A single shock suspension fork for bicycles is provided. The single shock suspension fork includes a fork crown, a shock absorber, a fork brace and two lower fork tubes. The two lower fork tubes are fixed and connected with two ends of the fork brace and a top end of each of the lower fork tubes projecting from the fork brace is inserted into a hole on each of two ends of the fork crown. A middle part of the fork brace is connected with a first end of the shock absorber while a second end of the shock absorber is inserted and connected with a steerer tube at a central part of the fork crown. Thereby the single shock suspension fork has simple structure, labor-and-time saving assembly, and convenient maintenance. Thereby shortcomings of conventional dual shock absorbers such as high manufacturing cost and time-consuming assembly can be overcome.

摘要: A vehicle suspension pre-load management system is disclosed. At least one suspension component, such as a motorcycle shock absorber, has an expandable chamber that with increased volume of a nearly incompressible fluid increases the suspensions pre-load. In one embodiment the system utilizes a controller, a pressure sensor, a pump, and a number of solenoids in a manifold block to allow a user to set a desired pre-load level. In another embodiment the controller monitors the pressure of the chamber and maintains a desired pre-load setting. In yet another embodiment, the controller identifies a hard braking event such that would cause a brake dive and increases the pre-load to counter act the dive.
