The heated surface system includes a heating element positioned proximate to a user contact surface of the vehicle, a first input device for receiving user input for controlling the heating element and is communicatively coupled to an electronic control unit over a first connection, and a second input device for receiving user input for controlling the heating element and is communicatively coupled to the electronic control unit over a second connection different from the first connection, wherein the electronic control unit is configured to control the heating element based on user input received via the first input device or the second input device.

    摘要: The present disclosure relates to a motor vehicle including a frame, a fairing, handlebars, and at least one fairing extension. The fairing and said handlebars are connected to the frame, such that the fairing deflects air about the handlebars at a first deflection angle. The fairing is removably attached to the at least one adjustable wind fairing extension, the fairing extension including at least one planar surface and, in some embodiments, at least one extendible planar surface, a hinge, an aperture, and at least one adjustment pin. The extendible planar surface is adjustable about said hinge along an adjustment plane up to the maximum extension allowed by the at least one adjustment pin. The fairing extension deflects air about the handlebars at a second deflection angle. The extension of the extendible planar surface deflects air about the handlebars at a third deflection angle.

    摘要: A method for providing guided navigation for personal transport devices is described. In one embodiment, the method includes providing a list of predetermined destinations associated with a geographic area, projecting directions to one or more of the destinations on a ground surface located in front of a personal transport device, and providing an option to a user of the personal transport device to select between at least two different destinations. A direction associated with each destination of the at least two destinations may be projected on the ground surface located in front of the personal transport device. The method also includes receiving an input from the user indicating a selection of one of the at least two different destinations and projecting directions to the selected destination on the ground surface located in front of the personal transport device to guide the user to the selected destination.

    摘要: A cruise control for a vehicle having a mounted rotatable accelerator sleeve and throttle housing which is mounted to a handlebar. The cruise control mounts entirely to the accelerator sleeve and rotates in perfect unity with the throttle when it is rotated. The cruise control is mounted between the throttle housing and the rubber/plastic grip's inner end, directly onto the accelerator sleeve. When the single button of the cruise control is pressed, the cruise control engages and uses friction against the surface of the throttle housing to hold the throttle in place. The operator can force the throttle to rotate by overpowering the friction caused by the cruise control, or preferably, they can disengage the cruise control by pressing the single button again, resetting the cruise control to be engaged again by pressing the single button.

    摘要: A vehicle control system comprising a first set of handlebar grips including a first grip mounted on a first side of the vehicle and a second grip mounted on a second side of the vehicle and a second set of handlebar grips mounted on the vehicle including a third grip mounted on the first side of the vehicle and a fourth grip mounted on the second side of the vehicle, the first and third grips being mounted in at least one position thereof in parallel, coplanar relation and the second and fourth grips being mounted in at least one position thereof in parallel, coplanar relation. In a specific embodiment, the invention further includes a first set of controls mounted on the first set of handlebars and a second set of controls mounted on the second set of handlebars. The first set of controls may be identical to the second set of controls. The second set of controls is coupled to or through the first set of handlebar controls. In a preferred embodiment, an adjustment mechanism is included with a drive motor for changing a mounting angle of the second set of handlebars relative to the first set of handlebars and a second drive motor for changing a mounting distance of the second set of handlebars relative to the first set of handlebars.
