    摘要: An automatic fork suppression system is described. The automatic fork suppression system includes a fork ring coupled to an upper fork tube and a locking assembly coupled to an outer face of a fork guard. The locking assembly includes a body, a latch lever, a pivot pin, a locking mechanism, and a lever return mechanism. In an unlocked position, the catch of the latch lever is configured inside the body of the locking assembly and is not engaged with an engagement portion of the fork ring). In a locked position, a catch of the latch lever is configured outside the body of the locking assembly and is engaged with an engagement portion of the fork ring. When the latch lever is coupled to the body, the handle extends through an opening such that it is accessible (e.g., by a user or motorcycle rider) and movable between unlocked and armed positions.

    摘要: A motorcycle having a motorcycle frame that includes one or more frame members with an adjustable mechanism for increasing or decreasing the stiffness of the frame member. By adjusting the stiffness of one or more frame members, the overall stiffness of the motorcycle frame may be increased or decreased. The adjustable mechanism may be controlled by an actuator, such as a hydraulic pump, that is, in turn, controlled by a computer control system. The control system may include sensors for determining performance parameters while the motorcycle is in use. For example, a speedometer may sense motorcycle speed and a gyrometer may sense the orientation of the motorcycle when in turns. Thus, in one example, the stiffness of the motorcycle frame may be increased if the motorcycle speed reaches a threshold speed. Further, the stiffness may be increased if the gyrometer senses that the motorcycle is engaged in a power slide.

    摘要: A variable height, infinitely adjustable front fork system that can adapt to various wheel sizes. On traditional front bicycle fork system, to change the tire size require a change in the fork, and to change the height of the fork relative to the frame that hold the front fork would require again a change to the fork. This new fork system addresses these two concerns. With a push of a button, or simple manipulation of a handle, the height of the fork relative to the frame can be made via a telescopic fork blade design. To accommodate different tire sizes, a user simply re-positions a pair of clamp-on wheel dropouts along a lower half of the telescopic blades.
