Abstract: A seal includes a mating ring that rotates relative to a carbon primary ring at a seal interface. A buffer gas is provided into the seal and passes from the back of the primary ring to the seal interface though holes drilled in the primary ring. Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a soup cup for maintaining a high sealing property. The soup cup includes a cup body; a compartment; an upper cover; a vertical wall; and an oil seal spring. When the upper cover is clamped to the cup body, primary sealing of the soup in the cup body can be completed, and then the sealing rubber film at the bottom of the upper cover can perform secondary sealing on the cup body; and moreover, the oil seal spring is embedded inside the sealing rubber film, and the oil seal spring expands to achieve tertiary sealing, thereby effectively preventing unfirm attachment between the upper cover and the cup body from caused by excessively long time, eliminating heat loss and liquid overflow caused by existence of various gaps, maintaining a high heat retention effect, and simultaneously creating a desirable use feeling for a holder.

Abstract: A PTFE rotary shaft seal assembly includes an annular seal case mountable within a bore of a housing and a wafer fabricated of PTFE. An outer region of the wafer is captured by the seal case and in inner region extends to a central opening of the wafer. The wafer includes coined fluid pumping impressions formed on a first side of the wafer and coined flexing impressions formed on an opposite second side of the wafer. The wafer further includes a coined static band portion encircling the central opening and being free of fluid pumping impressions. A method of making such a wager and seal assembly is also provided.

Abstract: A nickel-based alloy for forming a seal ring is disclosed. Such seal rings, in use may be static or rotating and may be used in a variety of applications, such as in wheel assemblies of machines. Using the alloy, the seal ring may be manufactured using a centrifugal casting method. The disclosed alloy includes a chromium content greater than at least 13.5% by weight, a boron content less than 3% by weight, a carbon content less than 2% by weight, and nickel content greater than 70% by weight. The nickel alloy may have a carbon plus boron atomic content divided by chromium atomic content less than 1.1. This alloy allows for the rapid cooling of centrifugal casting while maintaining a grain morphology suitable for relatively low leakage and relatively high durability. When the alloy is formulated, the seal ring is formed by centrifugal casting.

Abstract: A wiper seal assembly for sealing a ball screw actuator includes a seal element. An inside circumferential surface comprises a first helically shaped extension having a first pitch and is configured to be disposed within a roller ball screw thread. At least one wiping bead being a second helically shaped extension having a second pitch extending towards a longitudinal axis is disposed at least partially over the first helically shaped extension. The seal element is at least partially bonded to the cylindrical ring. The seal element has a first coefficient of thermal expansion and the cylindrical ring has a different second coefficient of thermal expansion.
