Abstract: A hub assembly is provided for a human powered vehicle. The hub assembly basically includes a hub axle, a hub body, a sprocket support body and an electrical power storage device. The hub body is rotatably disposed around a center axis of the hub axle. The sprocket support body is configured to support a plurality of sprockets. The sprocket support body is configured to rotate around the center axis to transmit a driving force to the hub body while rotating in a driving rotational direction around the center axis. The electrical power storage device is disposed radially outward of an outer surface of the hub axle. The electrical power storage device is disposed axially inward of the sprocket attachment structure. The electrical power storage device is disposed axially inward of the first axial end of the hub axle and the second axial end of the hub axle.

Abstract: A battery holder comprises a holder body, a holder lid, and a first biasing structure. The holder body includes a holder space in which a battery is configured to be at least partially provided. The holder space includes an end portion and an insertion opening through which the battery is configured to pass in a first direction. The holder lid is attachable to the holder body to cover the insertion opening at least partially. The first biasing structure is coupled to the holder lid to bias the battery toward the end portion in a battery holding state where the battery is provided in the holder space and where the holder lid is attached to the holder body.

Abstract: A control module is provided. The control module is installed on a handlebar of an electric assist vehicle. The lighting unit, the wireless communication unit, the input unit, and the power management unit of the control module each is electrically coupled to the control unit of the control module. The control unit is configured to receive a first operation signal inputted via the input unit or from the wireless communication unit, and control a lighting mode of the lighting unit accordingly. The control unit is configured to receive a second operation signal inputted via the input unit or from the wireless communication unit, and output a motor control signal to the power management unit according to the second operation signal, the power management unit accordingly control an assisting mode of an assist power of a motor. A related handlebar assembly and a related electric assist vehicle are provided.

Abstract: A battery expansion cradle is attachable to an electric scooter (eScooter) handlebar. The battery expansion cradle includes a battery connection terminal disposed on a face of the battery expansion cradle, where the battery connection terminal electrically connects with a power bus of the electric scooter. A battery module is removably attachable to the face of the battery expansion cradle and the back terminal of another battery. The battery module includes a connector electrically coupling the first rechargeable battery to the eScooter power bus, and includes a mobile device holder disposed on a face of the first battery module with holding means for securing a mobile device to the face of the battery module, which may be offset from the center of the external battery to allow for a clear forward view of the scooter using the smartphone's front camera, and the user's face using the rear camera.

Abstract: A bicycle includes a frame, a storage compartment, a battery pack, a pedal assist unit, and a lighting system. The frame includes a head tube, a stem, a down tube, a central hub, and a pair of chain stays. The central hub defines an internal cavity. The down tube and the central hub cooperatively define a battery opening connected to the internal cavity. The storage compartment includes a door positioned to selectively enclose an opening in the down tube. The battery pack is releasably received by the battery opening. The pedal assist unit is disposed within the internal cavity. The lighting system includes one or more taillights integrated into the chain stays, a conspicuity lamp integrated into the head tube, and/or a headlight integrated into to at least one of the stem or the head tube.

Abstract: A seat post assembly for a bicycle has a first tube with a first distal end and a second tube with a second distal end. The first and second tubes are movable relative to one another to establish a distance between the first and second distal ends. A first pressure chamber has a loaded pressure proportional to a load applied along the tube axis. A second pressure chamber has a second pressure not proportional to the load. A flow path connects the first and second pressure chambers. A valve is disposed along the flow path and is configured to move between a closed position closing the flow path and an open position opening the flow path between the first and second pressure chambers. An isolator of the valve is configured to nullify any resultant force produced by the loaded pressure of the first pressure chamber acting on the isolator.
