The limiter further includes a brake disc (214) mounted on the moveable shaft; a first friction device (216A) located to a first side of the brake disc, and a second friction device (216B) located to a second side. In use, contact between the brake disc and the first or the second friction device stops a motor (302) rotating the moveable shaft. The limiter also includes a casing (102) housing at least the brake disc, the first friction device and the second friction device, and an adjusting arrangement (224A, 224B) for adjusting a position of the first friction device and/or the second friction device relative to the brake disc. The adjusting arrangement is operable from outside the casing.

By means of the direct drive, the present invention prevents the emission of noise made by angle type transmission devices. Moreover, an inertial body is installed on the rotating housing that is integrated with the rotating part to form a flywheel or the rotating housing and the inertial body are integrated into a single reinforced structure to enable a flywheel function in order to improve the grinding, polishing and machining or cutting abilities of the grinding wheel.

摘要： An integrated torque limiter/no-back device for use in an actuator with an input shaft, an output and gear reduction. The device includes an input ramp to receive torque from the input shaft; a combined ramp to transfer torque; an output ramp to transfer torque to the gear reduction; one or more balls between the input ramp and the combined ramp and between the combined ramp and the output ramp to transfer torque; and a brake for causing torque to be grounded and for preventing backdriving of the input shaft by preventing movement of one or more of the input ramp, the combined ramp and the output ramp when a torque threshold has been met. The input ramp and the output ramp are a no-back ramp and a torque limiter ramp, respectively, and the device also includes a pin between the combined ramp and one or more of the no-back ramp and the gear reduction for transferring torque.

摘要： A power transmission apparatus which can function as a torque limiter during an overload condition. A Belleville spring is provided for generating mutual frictional engagement in areas between a flange part integral to an inner holder member, a washer, arc shaped projections of a flange part of a hub and a washer. As a result, during a normal condition of a compressor, the rotating movement of the inner holder member located adjacent to the rotating movement source is transmitted via the frictional engagement mechanism to a hub and then to a rotating shaft. Contrary to this, during an overloaded condition, a slippage is generated in the area between the washer and the arc shaped projections of the flange part of the hub as a frictional engaging area of a lower coefficient of friction. This slippage causes the washer to sink into the recess of the hub, which causes the washer to be displaced in the direction of the axis of the rotating shaft, which causes the pressing force to be reduced in the Belleville spring, resulting in a free rotating movement of the flange part.
