摘要: An exhaust duct for a fossil fuel powered engine includes an exhaust gas passage, a cooling fluid passage, a mixing device for mixing cooling fluid with the hot exhaust gas and a selective catalytic reduction catalyst for removing nitrogen oxides arranged in the exhaust gas passage. The mixing device has a mixing chamber with a first wall and an opposed second wall, the first and second wall arranged upstream of the selective catalytic reduction catalyst in the exhaust gas passage and extending over the cross-sectional area of the exhaust gas passage, both walls perforated by through holes, wherein through holes of the first wall are connected with through holes of the second wall in pairs by pipes extending through the mixing chamber, the pipes perforated by at least one hole into the mixing chamber and the cooling fluid passage ending into the mixing chamber.

摘要: A cooling device for a reducing agent injection module, includes a reducing agent injection module installed in an exhaust pipe to inject a reducing agent into the exhaust pipe and having a module cooling channel therein through which a coolant flows to cool the reducing agent injection module, a coolant pump configured to supply the coolant to the module cooling channel, a coolant circulation line including a coolant supply line and a coolant recovery line to connect the coolant pump and the module cooling channel, and a coolant recovery portion installed in the coolant recovery line to store the coolant flowing through the reducing agent injection module and positioned higher than the reducing agent injection module along a gravitational direction.

摘要: An exhaust gas control system includes an upstream purification device disposed in an exhaust passage of the internal combustion engine, a downstream purification device disposed in a portion of the exhaust passage downstream from the upstream purification device, a fuel addition valve disposed in a portion of the exhaust passage upstream from the upstream purification device, and a urea addition valve disposed in a portion of the exhaust passage between the upstream purification device and the downstream purification device, and a cooling device. The cooling device is configured such that refrigerant cools the fuel addition valve first and then cools the urea addition valve subsequent to the fuel addition valve.

摘要: A partitioning wall is provided in a fluid space formed between a cover member and a body member, which surrounds a forward end of a fluid injection valve. The partitioning wall divides the fluid space into an inlet-side fluid space and an outlet-side fluid space in a circumferential direction of the fluid injection valve. A forward-end space, which is formed at a bottom of the fluid space, is communicated to the inlet-side and the outlet-side fluid spaces, so that cooling water flows from the inlet-side fluid space to the outlet-side fluid space through the forward-end space. The cooling water circulates in the forward-end space surrounding the forward end of the fluid injection valve to effectively cool down the fluid injection valve.

摘要: An object is to prevent abrasion inside an addition valve and clogging of the addition valve due to an increase in the particle diameter of precipitates. A first control is performed by which a pump is caused to operate in such a way as to return urea solution contained in the addition valve and a urea solution channel to a tank by a predetermined quantity. After the lapse of a certain time after the end of the first control, a second control is performed by which the pump is caused to operate in such a way as to return the urea solution remaining in the addition valve and the urea solution channel thoroughly to the tank.
