The cylinder unit is disposed over the crankcase. The head cover is disposed over the cylinder unit. The oil tank is disposed rearward of the engine body. The oil path communicates with a space inside the head cover and is at least partially integral with the oil tank.

    摘要: A turbocharger system for a combustion engine and method of installing a turbocharger system includes a turbocharger having an oil inlet configured for being coupled to a pressure side of an oiling system and an oil outlet, an exhaust inlet and outlet and an air charge inlet and outlet. An oil pump is connected to the oil outlet of the turbocharger and is further connected to the oiling system. A pressure driven check valve is coupled to the oil inlet of the turbocharger to prevent oil from flowing into the turbocharger when the pressure on the pressure side of the oiling system drops below a predetermined level. The turbocharger system also includes mounting hardware for mounting the turbocharger to an exhaust pipe and away from the engine and at or below the oil level of the oiling system. In one embodiment, the method of installing the turbocharger system includes removing an existing muffler from the vehicle and mounting the turbocharger in the location of the existing muffler.

    摘要: An oil cooling assembly for an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) and a method of improving the efficiency of the ATV's cooling system is provided. The assembly or kit may include a relocating bracket that can be used to affix the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) oil cooler to a front portion of the ATV after the OEM oil cooler is removed from underneath the ATV frame. The kit may include a new reservoir tank that is larger than the OEM oil tank, as the relocation of the OEM oil cooler affords more spaced to accommodate the larger reservoir tank. The kit includes fluid conduits and barbed fittings to fluidly connect the relocated oil cooler to the reservoir tank, the reservoir tank to the motor, and the motor to the relocated oil cooler.
