摘要: A filter element of at least one of a vehicle and an internal combustion engine may include an annular filter body, an inner frame supporting the filter body, an upper end plate and a lower end plate arranged axially on the filter body, a pin eccentrically arranged on the lower end plate, a plurality of centring elements, and a positioning web. The annular filter body may surround a cylindrical inner space. The plurality of centring elements may be arranged distributed in a circumferential direction of the filter body around the first plate opening, protrude axially into the inner space, and respectively have a chamfer. The positioning web may be arranged on at least one of the upper end plate and the inner frame in the circumferential direction between two centring elements of the plurality of centring elements and extend parallel to the two centring elements.

摘要: A filtration monitoring system is an electronic system control module installed on an internal combustion engine or within a vehicle powered by the internal combustion engine. The filtration monitoring system monitors the health and status of the filtration systems present on the engine. The filtration monitoring system tracks filter loading patterns and predicts remaining service life of the filters by running smart algorithms based on sensor feedback (e.g., pressure sensor feedback, fluid quality characteristic sensor feedback, etc.). In some arrangements, the described filtration monitoring systems provide feedback as to whether a genuine (i.e., authorized, OEM approved, etc.) or unauthorized filter cartridge is installed in a given filtration system. The filtration monitoring system may be retrofit into an existing internal combustion engine or vehicle that does not already have a filtration monitoring system.

A cross flow hollow fiber module adapted to be positioned in a system for continuously purifying engine oil, the hollow fiber module having a central feed distributor tube, hollow fiber membranes positioned around the central feed distributor tube, end caps with ports for receiving and emitting a flow of sweep air, and optionally a shell casing, wherein the central feed distributor tube includes openings sized and positioned to allow oil to flowing into the feed distributor tube to flow out radially.

In one example, filtering the oil dilution amount may include decreasing a sensitivity of filtering at lower oil dilution below a threshold; otherwise, increasing the sensitivity of filtering. The sensitivity of the filtering may be decreased by implementing a larger time constant, while the sensitivity of the filtering may be increased by implementing a smaller time constant.

摘要: An engine oil feeding device is provided, which includes a variable-displacement oil pump having an operating chamber and a control oil-pressure chamber, and for changing a capacity of the operating chamber according to a pressure of the control oil-pressure chamber to change its discharging amount, an oil supply channel communicating with the operating chamber and coupled to an oil fed part, and an oil filter. The oil supply channel includes a pump downstream oil channel connecting the operating chamber with the filter and a control oil channel branched from the pump downstream oil channel and coupled to the control oil-pressure chamber. The device also includes a control valve provided in the control oil channel. A starting control is performed in which the valve opening is set larger than a predetermined rate before the pump starts driving and set smaller than the predetermined rate after the pump starts driving.

A cover is coupled to a crankcase on one end side of a crankshaft in an axial direction, and a plurality of oil filters are attached to an outer side wall of the cover on the opposite side to a transmission with respect to the crankshaft and are disposed in an upwardly and downwardly juxtaposed relationship with each other.

The oil recirculation system includes a first conduit coupled to the engine to receive an oil and a second conduit coupled to the engine to supply the oil to the engine. The oil recirculation system further includes a filtering device disposed between the first and second conduits. The filtering device includes a first housing member defining a first chamber therein. The first chamber is in fluid communication with the first conduit. The filtering device further includes a second housing member removably coupled to the first housing member and defines a second chamber therein. The second chamber is in fluid communication with the second conduit. The first and second chambers together define a passage to receive the oil therethrough. The filtering device further includes a filter member disposed in the passage to filter the oil flowing therethrough.

摘要: A system to change the oil from above the hood includes a reversible motor connected to the oil system, preferably the sump drain. The pump is further connected to a container. The pump initially draws the oil from the oil sump and directs it into an empty container. A full container of oil is then connected to the pump, which is then reversed, pumping the oil new oil into the engine's oil sump. Alternately, the system can be directed to and from the existing oil filter connection.
