    摘要: A scratching device and a method for scratching the icy surface for a snowmobile are disclosed. The scratching device, or ice scratcher, comprises a securing portion for laterally attaching the device towards the snowmobile; a scratching portion for scratching an icy surface when the snowmobile is travelling on the icy surface, thereby creating a stream of ice particles; and an orienting component cooperating with the scratching portion for directing the stream of ice particles towards the components of the snowmobile for cooling the components when the snowmobile is travelling. The scratching device may therefore direct, via the orienting component, a stream of ice particles toward the snowmobile components, e.g., for lubrication and cooling. A method of installing the scratching device on the snowmobile is also disclosed.

    摘要: Systems and methods are provided to allow a temporary power boost beyond a restricted power output associated with a restricted operating mode of an electric vehicle to be provided to accommodate challenging operating conditions. A method includes, when the electric vehicle is in the restricted operating mode, receiving an operator propulsion command equal to or exceeding a propulsion command threshold. The powertrain of the electric vehicle is commanded to generate a first power output corresponding to the operator propulsion command where the first power output is lower than or equal to the restricted power output. When the operator propulsion command is equal to or exceeding the propulsion command threshold and the actual speed of the electric vehicle is below a speed threshold, the powertrain of the electric vehicle is commanded to generate a second power output exceeding the restricted power output in response to the operator propulsion command.

The flexible, composite member is coupled at a first end to the one or more slide rails and at a second end to the chassis.

A frame coupler allows multiple differently configured frame tubes to be connected to the tunnel. The chassis of the snowmobile includes a casing for receiving the gears which drive the belt.
