    Abstract: The present application relates to the technical field of construction machinery, in particular to an excavator lower part length regulating system and an excavator. The excavator lower part length regulating system includes: a lower part walking beam; a caterpillar track, provided around the lower part walking beam; and a regulating assembly, adapted to regulating the length of the lower part walking beam and the height of the caterpillar track along a longitudinal direction. The regulating assembly has an extension state in which the lower part walking beam is driven to be elongated and the caterpillar track is driven to descend along a longitudinal direction, and a contraction state in which the lower part walking beam is driven to be shortened and the caterpillar track is driven to ascend along the longitudinal direction. The present application provides the excavator lower part length regulating system, which regulates the length of the lower part walking beam and concomitantly regulates the height of the caterpillar track along the longitudinal direction by providing the regulating assembly, to realize an adaptive regulation of the caterpillar track with a constant perimeter, overcome the defect that the traditional excavator fails to regulate the ground pressure; and provide the excavator capable of regulating the ground pressure according to requirements.

    Abstract: A seal assembly for sealing a lubricant space that is formed between a pin, a track shoe pressed-on onto one end of the pin, and a sleeve of a track. The sleeve is pushed onto the pin and is swivelable on the pin. The track further includes at least one second track shoe pressed onto one end of the sleeve. The seal assembly provides a first seal ring for sealing the lubricant space between the sleeve and the first track shoe, and an elastic ring for applying pressure to the first seal ring. The seal assembly further provides a second seal ring for sealing the lubricant space between the sleeve and the first track shoe and/or the pin.

    Abstract: A track roller for an undercarriage system includes a roller shell with a first inner surface forming a larger diameter shaft bore and a second inner surface forming a smaller diameter shaft bore coaxially arranged with the larger diameter shaft bore. A roller shaft having a first shaft end and a second shaft end supports the roller shell for rotation and has an oil reservoir formed therein. A first sleeve bearing and a second sleeve bearing are positioned upon the roller shaft, and an axially extending oil passage is formed by the second inner surface of the roller shell forming the smaller diameter shaft bore and an outer bearing surface of the second sleeve bearing. The oil reservoir in the roller shaft is confined in its extent to the second shaft end of the roller shaft.

    Abstract: A method of manufacturing an undercarriage track joint assembly includes forming at least a first portion of a seal assembly by laser brazing an annular, metal sealing washer to a first track link of the undercarriage track joint assembly. The method may also include performing the laser brazing to form at least one of an annular fillet of braze material between the first track link and at least a portion of an inner diameter surface of the washer and an annular fillet of braze material between the first track link and at least a portion of an outer diameter surface of the washer. The method may still further include inserting a second portion of the seal assembly into a counterbore formed in an axial face of a second track link of the track joint assembly such that an axial sealing face of the washer opposite from the first track link slidably engages with the second portion of the seal assembly on the second track link of the track joint assembly to form a sealing surface between the first and second track links.

    Abstract: A track roller assembly may have a track roller, a roller shaft and collars press fit onto either end of the roller shaft to retain the track roller on the roller shaft with an axial clearance between the collars and the track roller. During assembly, the collars may be press fit onto the shaft ends and forced axially inwardly until further axial movement of the collars is prevented by engagement shoulders of the track roller. A compressive axial load may be applied to the roller shaft to reduce a shaft length of the roller shaft and to cause the roller shaft to slide inwardly relative to the collars. The compressive axial load is removed from the roller shaft so that the roller shaft extends back to the normal shaft length and the collars move axially farther apart as the roller shaft extends back to the normal shaft length.
