    摘要: A self-erecting launcher assembly includes a mobile unit, and a magazine positioned in a receptacle of the mobile unit. The magazine includes a plurality of drones. A rail unit is secured to the mobile unit and moves between a closed position and an elevated position. A platform may be secured to the rail unit and is movable in an upward direction and a downward direction along a length of the rail unit. The platform is movable when the rail unit is in its elevated position. The magazine or the plurality of drones may be positioned on the platform, such that the platform moves the magazine or the plurality of drones from the mobile unit to at least one wellhead. A manipulator arm is secured to the platform and selects a drone of the plurality of drones and delivers the selected drone into a lubricator positioned at the wellhead.

    摘要: A jarring tool used to dislodge a stuck tubular string or bottom hole assembly within an underground wellbore. Tubular strings with which the tool may be used may be formed from drill pipe, jointed pipe, or coiled tubing. A funnel element is placed underground either within, or as part of, a tubular string. A deformable ball may be seated within the funnel element to block fluid from passing within the tubular string. Hydraulic pressure may build within the tubular string until it exceeds the pressure the ball can withstand. This will cause the ball to deform and be expelled through the funnel element. With no ball to block its flow, fluid will be rapidly released through the funnel element. The rapid release of fluid will cause a powerful jarring or jolting to the tubular string or bottom hole assembly.

    摘要: A valve system for an inner tube assembly is described. The inner tube assembly is arranged to be used in a drilling system to retrieve a core sample, and is arranged to be insertable into a drill string of the drilling system at a first end of the drill string. The valve system is arranged to be configurable in a first closed configuration, an open configuration, and a second closed configuration. The valve system moves to the first closed configuration when fluid is pumped along an interior region of the drill string towards the inner tube assembly in a direction from the first end of the drill string to the inner tube assembly. The valve system is arranged such that, when in the first closed configuration, a pressure of the fluid increases to facilitate deploying the inner tube assembly towards a second end of the drill string. The valve system moves to the open configuration in response to the inner tube assembly reaching a vicinity of the second end of the drill string and being prevented from moving further towards the second end of the drill string. The valve system is arranged such that, when in the open configuration, fluid can flow to a drill bit located at or near the second end of the drill string. The valve system moves to the second closed configuration when fluid is pumped along the interior region of the drill string towards the inner tube assembly in a direction from the second end of the drill string to the inner tube assembly. The valve system is arranged such that, when in the second closed configuration, the pressure of the fluid increases to facilitate retrieving the inner tube assembly from the vicinity of the second end of the drill string.

    摘要: A landing nose adapted to deploy a sensor package within a tubular string may include one or more fins. The fins may be positioned to extend radially outwardly from the body of the landing nose and extend beyond the end of the landing nose body. The landing nose may be adapted to seat against a landing ring positioned within the tubular string. The fins may be adapted to, when the landing nose is seated, allow fluid to flow between the fins and through a central aperture of the landing ring. The fins may also be adapted to reduce the opportunity for the landing nose and sensor package to catch on any protrusions or features of the tubular string. In operation, the landing nose and sensor package may be run through the tubular string from the surface until the landing nose contacts the landing ring. The sensor package may then survey the wellbore as the tubular string is tripped-out from the wellbore.
