Abstract:
A dyed artificial leather includes a fibrous base containing ultrafine fibers with a filament fineness of 2 decitex or less and a polymeric elastomer, and characterized in that the lightness difference ΔL* between the ultrafine fibers and the polymeric elastomer represented by the following equation meet the requirement of −16≦ΔL*≦5: ΔL*=(average lightness L* of ultrafine fibers)−(average lightness L* of polymeric elastomer). A production method for dyed artificial leather includes a first dying step in which artificial leather constituted mainly of a fibrous base containing ultrafine fibers with a filament fineness of 2 decitex or less and a polymeric elastomer is dyed using a dye and a subsequent second dyeing step performed at a dye concentration that is 0.1% to 30% of the dye concentration (owf) in the first dyeing step.

Methods for forming a hydroentangled scrim sheet are provided. The method can include hydroentangling a scrim sheet having a first layer of staple fibers on a first side of the scrim sheet and a second layer of staple fibers on a second side of the scrim sheet to form a hydroentangled scrim sheet; calendaring the hydroentangled scrim sheet to form a calendared hydroentangled scrim sheet; impregnating the hydroentangled scrim sheet with a saturant composition; drying the saturant composition impregnated into the calendared hydroentangled scrim sheet; applying a bond coat onto a surface of the calendared hydroentangled scrim sheet; and applying a top coat onto the bond coat. The top coat is, in one embodiment, configured to provide a surface for further coatings thereon.

An oilproof rubberized fabric is described, comprising a woven fabric as a strength member and having coated thereon an oilproof synthetic rubber, wherein simplicity of construction and ease of fabrication and symmetry of structure and physical properties on both sides of the woven fabric are attained by means of a resin having an oil-barrier property and an adhesive property applied so as to fill up interstices in the woven fabric.
Abstract:
Floor coverings, such as modular panels or tiles, for installation on interior surfaces include one or more layers, for example, an upper wear layer and a backing layer, where at least one layer includes a filler that includes a carbon negative material, such as concentrated carbon. The carbon negative material can sequester carbon such that the resulting floor covering has a negative carbon footprint when subjected to a Life Cycle Assessment.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing a fabric substrate molded product coated with silicone rubber, wherein the adherence of dust, flashes during molding, and foreign matter is prevented because the obtained cured coating film has surface lubricity, and breaking and cracking do not occur when the fabric substrate is deformed because the obtained cured coating film has elongation. This method for producing a fabric substrate molded product coated with silicone rubber, in which method the surface of the fabric substrate is coated with a first coating layer and a second coating layer by forming a first coating layer, which comprises a cured product of a liquid silicone rubber composition, on at least one surface of the fabric substrate, and then forming a second coating layer, which comprises a cured product of a silicone rubber composition, on the outer surface of the first coating layer, is characterized in that the first coating layer is a cured product of a liquid silicone rubber composition that contains an adhesiveness-conferring component, and the second coating layer is a cured product of a silicone rubber composition that contains a silicone resin.
