摘要: A tackifier composition comprising at least one thermoplastic hydrocarbon resin and an antioxidant composition is provided; wherein a portion of the volatile organic compounds in the thermoplastic hydrocarbon resin has been removed; wherein the antioxidant composition comprises at least one primary antioxidant and at least one secondary antioxidant; and wherein the levels of individual volatile organic compound monitored in the tackifier composition are less than about 0.5 ppm as measured by GC/MS headspace analysis. Processes for producing the tackifier composition are also provided as well as adhesives comprising the tackifier compositions.

摘要: The present invention provides an adhesive composition including an ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer; and a tackifier, wherein the ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer has narrow molecular weight distribution together with a low density and an ultra low molecular weight, minimized number of unsaturated functional groups, and particularly a small amount of vinylidene among the unsaturated functional groups, thereby showing excellent physical properties.

摘要: A conveyor belt obtained by bonding together conveyor belts to be adhered using an adhesive rubber is provided. The conveyor belts to be adhered include a rubber composition containing an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer, an organic peroxide (X1), and carbon black (Y1), the organic peroxide (X1) being contained in an amount of from 0.011 to 0.020 molar equivalents relative to the ethylene-α-olefin copolymer in the conveyor belts to be adhered. The adhesive rubber includes a rubber composition containing an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer, an organic peroxide (X2), and carbon black (Y2), the organic peroxide (X2) being contained in an amount of from 0.017 to 0.022 molar equivalents relative to the ethylene-α-olefin copolymer in the adhesive rubber. A content ratio (X2/X1) of the organic peroxide (X2) to the organic peroxide (X1) is from 1.20 to 2.00.

摘要: The present application relates to an encapsulant for a PV module, a method of manufacturing the same, and a PV module. The encapsulant according to an embodiment of the present application has excellent heat resistance or the like and improved creep properties, exhibits a haze with a certain level or less and excellent optical properties such as transparency or the like, when the encapsulant is applied to a PV module, physical properties such as durability, transparency, or the like are improved, and thus excellent generating efficiency of the PV module may be obtained.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to adhesive compositions, processes of forming adhesive compositions, and multi-layer films. The processes generally include contacting an olefin monomer with a catalyst system within a polymerization zone to form an olefin based polymer under polymerization conditions sufficient to form the olefin based polymer, the catalyst system including a metal component generally represented by the formula: MRx; wherein M is a transition metal, R is a halogen, an alkoxy, or a hydrocarboxyl group and x is the valence of the transition metal, wherein the catalyst system further includes an internal donor (ID) comprising a C3-C6 cyclic ether; and withdrawing the olefin based polymer from the polymerization zone; and melt blending the olefin based polymer with a graft (polyolefin/elastomer) copolymer to form a polyolefin based adhesive composition, wherein the process is an in-line process.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a polyolefin-based composition made from or containing (A) a first grafted polyolefin composition, (B) a second grafted polyolefin composition made from or containing a first metallocene-catalyzed linear low density polyethylene grafted with an unsaturated monomer, (C) a second metallocene-catalyzed linear low density polyethylene composition, (D) a Ziegler-Natta-catalyzed linear low density polyethylene composition, (E) an elastomeric composition made from or containing (i) an elastomeric ethylene copolymer and (ii) an ethylene-propylene elastomer, and (F) a tackifier composition. Optionally, the polyolefin-based composition may be further made from or contain an additives composition. The polymeric composition is suitable for use as a tie-layer adhesive composition.
