摘要: A polyamide composition comprising a polyamide; a plurality of inorganic fibers; and a flame retardant system comprising a zinc phosphinate and a nitrogen-containing polyphosphate is provided. At thicknesses of from about 0.4 to about 3.2 millimeters, the composition exhibits a Glow Wire Ignition Temperature of about 775° C. or more as determined in accordance with IEC-60695-2-13:2010; a Glow Wire End Product Temperature (without flame) of about 750° C. or more as determined in accordance with IEC-60335-1:2010; a Glow Wire Flammability Index of about 850° C. or more as determined in accordance with IEC-60695-2-12:2010; a V0 rating as determined in accordance with UL94; and/or a comparative tracking index of about 550 volts or more as determined in accordance with IEC 60112:2003.

摘要: One-component toughened epoxy structural adhesives contain fibrous mineral fillers that have an aspect ratio of ≥6. The presence of the fibrous filler leads to a significant increase in elastic modulus while having little if any adverse effect on other properties such as dynamic impact peel resistance.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a laminate excellent in a shape stability of a conductive pattern and excellent in transparency even after heating. There is provided a laminate including a base material and a conductive pattern containing a metal nanobody and a resin, where a total light transmittance of the base material is 75% or more, and a glass transition temperature of the base material is 120° C. or higher, and provided an electronic device including the laminate. The glass transition temperature of the base material is preferably 200° C. or higher, and the coefficient of thermal expansion of the base material at 100° C. to 200° C. is preferably 10×10−6 (/K) or more and 50×10−6 (/K) or less.

摘要: A method of enhancing surface electrical conductivity of an article formed of a conductive polymer material, such as a conductive polymer film, includes the step of providing an article formed of a conductive polymer . The conductive polymer is made up of a dielectric polymeric material and conductive fibers. A desired pressure is applied to at least a portion of the article while simultaneously heating at least a portion of the article to a desired temperature. The desired pressure and the desired temperature are maintained on at least a portion of the article for a desired time period. This method reduces a polymer-rich skin layer on the surface of the conductive polymer material and helps to randomize the orientation of the conductive fibers on the surface.

The friction material includes a non-whisker-like titanate compound and a low-melting-point metal fiber. The friction material includes no copper component.

摘要: The invention is directed to a mass transit vehicle component, to a method for preparing a mass transit vehicle component with improved smoke density and/or heat release performance, to the use of a component in mass transit vehicles, and to a use of a pellet or composition. The mass transit vehicle component of the invention is prepared from i) pellets of a flame retardant glass fibre reinforced polypropylene composition; ii) a composition comprising: a) pellets of a fibre reinforced polypropylene composition; and b) a flame retardant polypropylene dilution composition; or iii) a composition comprising: a) pellets of a flame retardant fibre reinforced polypropylene composition, and b) a flame retardant polypropylene dilution composition.
