    Abstract: A composition comprises a polyglycolide or a polyglycolide copolymer and a filler. The polyglycolide is prepared from glycolide by ring-opening polymerization. The composition may have a tensile modulus greater than 5,800 MPa. The polyglycolide copolymer may have a weight-average molecular weight (Mw) in the range of 10,000-1,000,000 and a ratio of a weight-average molecular weight to a number-average molecular weight (Mw/Mn) in the range of 1.0 to 10.0. The polyglycolide copolymer may have a melt index (MFR) in the range of 0.1 to 1000 g/10 min. Also provided is a process for preparing the composition.

    Abstract: A composition including: (A) from 29 to 74% by weight of at least one semi-crystalline aliphatic polyamide, the semi-crystalline aliphatic polyamide obtained from the polycondensation: of at least one C6 to C18 amino acid; or at least one C6 to C18 lactam; or at least one C4 to C36 diamine Ca with at least one C4 to C3 diacid Cb; (B) from 25 to 70% by weight of glass fibers mainly of silica dioxide (SiO2), aluminum oxide (Al2O3) and magnesium oxide (MgO); the glass fibers (B) having from 62 to 66% by weight of SiO2; (C) from 1 to 20% by weight of at least one impact modifier; and (D) from 0 to 2% by weight of at least one additive, excluding copper chromite, zinc sulfide, titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate and a polyolefin-based colored masterbatch; the sum of the various constituents (A) to (D) being 100% by weight.

    Abstract: Provided is a production method for a layered product in which a metal film can be formed on the surface of a polyarylene sulfide (PAS) molded article with a high adhesive force by a simple step. Further, provided are: a polyarylene sulfide resin composition and a molded article that can be used in the layered product in which a metal film can be formed on the surface of the PAS molded article with a high adhesive force by a simpler step; and production methods therefor.     Abstract: The present invention is a molded article containing a polyarylene sulfide resin, a thermoplastic resin other than the polyarylene sulfide resin, and a metal oxide containing at least one of copper or chromium. The polyarylene sulfide resin forms a continuous phase, and a dispersed phase containing the thermoplastic resin and the metal oxide is present in the continuous phase. The present invention is also a polyarylene sulfide resin composition for providing it, a molded article having a roughened surface, a laminate of the molded article and metal, and methods for producing them. According to the present invention, there is provided a molded article that has superior heat resistance of a polyarylene sulfide resin, on which the speed of plating deposition is practical, and with which a laminate with potentially maintained adhesiveness of plating can be obtained and a method for producing it, as well as a polyarylene sulfide resin composition.

The downhole tool is formed from a degradable resin composition containing a polyamide resin and a carboxylic acid anhydride, and the carboxylic acid anhydride is a compound satisfying the following melting point condition: melting point of polyamide resin≤5% weight reduction temperature of carboxylic acid anhydride.
