    摘要: An integrated system for treating and recycling rainwater in a residential community. The residential community includes low-lying land. The integrated system includes a primary channel for receiving and treating initial rainwater, a baffled water treatment pool, and a reservoir. The primary channel includes an external wall and an inner wall. The baffled water treatment pool includes a water inlet which is disposed on the inner wall of the primary channel. The reservoir includes a water inlet, a gravel filter layer, and an overflow wall. The primary channel, the baffled water treatment pool, and the reservoir are disposed in the low-lying land. The primary channel is annular and surrounds the baffled water treatment pool and the reservoir. The overflow wall of the reservoir cuts off the annular primary channel. The baffled water treatment pool and the reservoir are adjacent to each other and are divided by a shared wall.

    摘要: A modular liquid waste treatment system is disclosed. In accordance with some embodiments, the system includes a central distribution unit and one or more treatment fins in flow communication therewith. The distribution unit may be configured to receive liquid waste from a given source and distribute that waste, at least in part, to one or more treatment fins. In turn, bacteria present in a given treatment fin treat the liquid waste, and the resultant treated liquid may drain from the fin to the surrounding environment. In some embodiments, a given treatment fin may include porous media providing a large surface area on which bacteria may grow to facilitate treatment. The system may be installed in and/or above the ground, and in some cases may be surrounded, at least in part, with treatment sand and/or other treatment media. The system may be used in aerobic and/or anaerobic processing of liquid waste.

    摘要: An anoxic packed-bed biological and chemical system for removing nitrates/perchlorate from water includes a vessel having a distribution plate that partitions the vessel into a lower influent-receiving chamber and an upper biological and chemical denitrification chamber. A granular media is supported by the distribution plate to provide a packed bed that has sites for biological growth. A recycle system recycles partially treated water into the closed lower end of the vessel for upflow through the distribution plate.
