摘要: An acid substance (e.g., HCl) generated as the byproduct of an ocean alkalinity enhancement (OAE) process is neutralized using an in-situ acid neutralization subsystem by forcing the acid byproduct through an alkaline formation such that the acid substance is neutralized through interaction with alkaline rocks as the acid byproduct flows from an injection well to a recovery well. A flow rate of acid substance through rock formation is optimized to (a) maximize the amount of neutralized acid substance, and (b) minimize the amount of residual acid substance at the recovery well. The acid flow rate is adjusted by mixing the acid byproduct with a buffer and/or by a flow control device. Acid neutralization and CO2 capture are combined by forcing CO2 through the alkaline formation to react with divalent ions generated by the acid neutralization process, thereby mineralizing the CO2 in the form of carbonate rocks (e.g., limestone or dolostone).

摘要: The present invention belongs to the technical field of environmental engineering and provides a method for constructing a multistage food chain biofilm system enhanced by electrochemistry and an application in pharmaceutical wastewater. A flow-through electrochemical degradation module is constructed based on P/F—TiO2-n porous membrane electrodes, and a multistage flow-through composite electrochemical-biological submerged fixed film reactor is constructed jointly with the PA-N-rGO fixed fiber carrier and applied to deep purification of high-risk substances in pharmaceutical wastewater. The flow-through electrochemical degradation module can also effectively degrade antibiotics resistance genes and refractory organics in the water, improve the biodegradability of the wastewater and improve the degradation performance and load of shock resistance of the system, so the multistage flow-through composite electrochemical-biological submerged fixed film reactor can realize the high-efficiency low-consumption treatment of pharmaceutical wastewater and effectively reduce the yield of excess activated sludge.

摘要: Devices for controlling to remove food waste digestion foam are provided. The device includes a digestion tank. The digestion tank includes two hermetically sealed boxes. Each of the two boxes is opened with a liquid inlet connected to an interior of each of the two boxes. A conveying mechanism is connected between the two boxes. The conveying mechanism conveys a gas in the two boxes in a reciprocal manner. The gas in the two boxes is conveyed in the reciprocal manner through the conveying mechanism to generate a pressure difference between the two boxes distributed left and right to remove the foam, which adopts physical defoaming without adding any reagent, is cost-effective and efficient, and does not affect an anaerobic reaction process due to addition of a chemical defoaming agent. The entire device has a simple structure and is easy to operate, and the process is controllable.

摘要: Methane is generated from animal waste by anaerobic digestion using bacteria. A screen separator removes suspended solids greater in size than a predetermined size ranging from about 50μ to about 150μ. An electrocoagulation unit electrochemically hydrolyses the waste, causing particles to settle out. A dissolved carbon air flotation has a CO2 bubbler for separating large particles from small particles by flotation. An anaerobic digester produces biogas. The digester has a biocurtain for growing the bacteria and a heat exchanger for heating the bacteria. The biocurtain surface is convoluted to retain the bacteria. A membrane module removes CO2. A knock out pot for removes droplets of water. A scrubber removes water vapor, particulates, and contaminant gas. A compressor boosts pressure. A gas chromatograph monitors the biogas composition. A flare skid lowers excess pressure for safety. Biogas is injected into a local pipeline system. A process control is used for controlling the anaerobic waste digestion system.
