摘要: A system generates a first variant of a first machine learning (ML) model, the first variant associated with an initial hyperparameter value. The system determines a prediction metric for the first variant of the first ML model, the prediction metric indicating an accuracy of the behavior prediction. The system generates an estimated simulation metric for the first variant of the first ML model by applying a second ML model to the prediction metric. The system identifies a first hyperparameter associated with a second variant of the first ML model, the second variant of the first ML model having a corresponding prediction metric and a corresponding estimated simulation metric that meet a first predetermined criteria, the second variant of the first ML model is used by an autonomous driving vehicle (ADV) for behavior prediction.

摘要: A vehicle configured to operate in an autonomous mode can obtain sensor data from one or more sensors observing one or more aspects of an environment of the vehicle. At least one aspect of the environment of the vehicle that is not observed by the one or more sensors could be inferred based on the sensor data. The vehicle could be controlled in the autonomous mode based on the at least one inferred aspect of the environment of the vehicle.

摘要: A method of and system for processing Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) point cloud data. The method is executable by an electronic device, communicatively coupled to a LIDAR installed on a vehicle, the LIDAR having a plurality of lasers for capturing LIDAR point cloud data. The method includes receiving a first LIDAR point cloud data captured by the LIDAR; executing a Machine Learning Algorithm (MLA) for: analyzing a first plurality of LIDAR points of the first point cloud data in relation to a response pattern of the plurality of lasers; retrieving a grid representation data of a surrounding area of the vehicle; determining if the first plurality of LIDAR points is associated with a blind spot, the blind spot preventing a detection algorithm of the electronic device to detect presence of at least one object surrounding the vehicle conditioned on the at least one object is present.

摘要: A vehicle accident detection method and system is provided. The method includes receiving location coordinates associated with a location of an occurring vehicular accident. Data associated with possible causes of the vehicular accident is received from sensors. Traffic related rules associated with a geographical location are retrieved and analyzed with respect to the data. Parameters associated with at least one vehicle involved in the vehicular accident and a possible cause are determined via execution of programming logic and transmitted to additional systems. The possible cause for the vehicular accident is determined from all possible causes based on matching current and historical accident circumstances. Additionally, weighting factors may be available and adjusted over time for accurate accident detection. A possible cause comprising a greatest weighting factor may be used to identify a most likely cause.

摘要: A hybrid vehicle includes an electronic control unit that executes first discharge control in a state where an engine is stopped in the case where a collision detector detects a collision of the hybrid vehicle. The first discharge control includes bringing all switching elements on either one of an upper arm side and a lower arm side of either one of a first inverter and a second inverter into ON states; bringing another inverter into a gate blocking state; and discharging electric charges of a capacitor by using a discharge device until a voltage of the capacitor becomes lower than a threshold.

摘要: Methods and devices for using a relationship between activities of different traffic signals in a network to improve traffic signal state estimation are disclosed. An example method includes determining that a vehicle is approaching an upcoming traffic signal. The method may further include determining a state of one or more traffic signals other than the upcoming traffic signal. Additionally, the method may also include determining an estimate of a state of the upcoming traffic signal based on a relationship between the state of the one or more traffic signals other than the upcoming traffic signal and the state of the upcoming traffic signal.
