    摘要: There is provided an image processing device capable of recognizing a presence of an object with low visibility on a combined image, a warning device and a method for processing an image. The image processing device includes an image acquiring unit configured to acquire a first image capturing an area around a mobile object including a first area and a second image capturing an area around the mobile object including a second area adjacent to the first area; a contour detector configured to perform a contour detection to the first and second images; and a determiner configured to detect, if a first contour detected on the first image extends to a boundary with the second image on a combined image including at least a part of the first image and at least a part of the second image, whether or not a second contour is detected on an extension of the first contour on the second image.

    摘要: An object detection circuit detects an object moving in a periphery of a vehicle by a frame correlation method that uses a plurality of shot images captured at successive times. A state judgment part disables a detection function of the object detection circuit when a steering angle of an own vehicle is not in a prescribed steering angle range. Then, a condition changer changes the prescribed steering angle range corresponding to a condition of the steering angle in accordance with a velocity of the own vehicle. Therefore, the condition changer can relax the condition for enabling the detection function in accordance with the velocity of the own vehicle within a range where detection accuracy is ensured.

A method for online or on-the-fly calibration of the camera involves two independent steps, namely while the vehicle is moving relative to the ground, calibrating the camera rotational parameters using a parallel geometrical calibration process, and calibrating at least some of the camera translational parameters xc, yc independently of the camera rotational parameters.

    摘要: An image processing device includes an image acquiring unit, a storage unit, and an image processing unit, wherein the image region is divided into a plurality of sub-regions in the vertical direction, and wherein when the rectangular range set in the image region extends over two or more sub-regions, the image processing unit acquires the cumulative value at a pixel position in the lowermost sub-region of the two or more sub-regions by adding the cumulative values in the upper sub-regions at the pixel position in the same column of a lowermost row in the upper sub-regions, over which the rectangular range extends, to the cumulative value in the lowermost sub-region at the pixel position in the lowermost sub-region.
