摘要: A method of bonding a substrate is described comprising providing a fluoropolymer film comprising: i) a first fluoropolymer comprising at least 80, 85, or 90 wt. % of polymerized perfluorinated monomers; ii) optionally a second fluoropolymer having a greater amount of polymerized tetrafluoroethylene than the first fluoropolymer; wherein the first fluoropolymer and/or second fluoropolymer when present comprises halogen cure sites; and iii) one or more compounds comprising an electron donor group and one or more ethylenically unsaturated groups; applying the fluoropolymer film to a substrate; and heating the fluoropolymer film to a temperature of at least 150, 160, 170, 180, 190 or 200° C.

摘要: Methods for forming a fluoropolymer coated component, such as a metal component, comprise applying an adhesion promoter onto a surface of the component; applying an organic material onto the adhesion promoter; and applying a mixture comprising a fluoropolymer and a solvent selected from a furan or a fluorinated solvent onto the organic material. Fluoropolymer coatings have a thickness of from about 5 mil to about 80 mil on a component, an average porosity of from about 20% to about 70% based on the total volume of the layer, and a void density of from about 1011 to about 1013 voids per cm3.

摘要: Printed wiring boards, in which the insulating layer exhibits excellent peel strength with respect to a conductive layer after a roughening treatment, even when using a resin composition having a high content of inorganic filler, may be obtained by: (A) laminating, onto an internal layer substrate, an adhesive sheet which includes a support and a resin composition layer in contact with the support, so that the resin composition layer is in contact with the internal layer substrate; (B) thermally curing the resin composition layer to form an insulating layer; and (C) removing the support, when the support satisfies certain conditions (TD1) and (TD2) in a TD direction thereof when it is heated under specific heating conditions.

The process further includes the use of a twice smoothed caul sheet, where the smoothing includes a coarse sanding and a fine sanding.

摘要: Methods of manufacturing a layered glass element and various components of a layered class element, such as a pre-form assembly and a woven panel, are disclosed herein. These methods include the step of supplying a woven panel having a plurality of elongated strands woven into an open weave to define a first porous surface opposite of a second porous surface. A layer of interlayer material is applied to the first and second porous surfaces to encapsulate at least a portion of the woven panel within the interlayer material. These elements may be placed between a first and second layer of glass materials. A degree of pressure and heat is then applied for a first period of cure time to bond the interlayer material and the woven panel into either a pre-form assembly or a layered glass element.

摘要: The present invention relates to method of manufacturing an aircraft interior panel comprising a core sandwiched between first and second skins, wherein both of the first and second skins are formed from natural fibres containing non-halogenated fire-retardant and set within an inorganic thermoset resin, thereby forming a fire-resistant sustainable aircraft interior panel. The method comprises impregnating the natural fibres with non-halogenated fire retardant and an inorganic thermoset resin, and laying up the resin-impregnated natural fibres to sandwich the core. This stack is then cured by raising the temperature of the stack sufficient to initiate curing but without reaching the boiling point of water in the stack, holding the stack at that first temperature before raising the temperature again to reach the boiling point of water in the stack, before cooling the stack.

摘要: Methods of manufacturing a layered glass element and various components of a layered class element, such as a pre-form assembly and a woven panel, are disclosed herein. These methods include the step of supplying a woven panel having a plurality of elongated strands woven into an open weave to define a first porous surface opposite of a second porous surface. 摘要: Manufacturing techniques and composite structures that are able to meet increasing demanding requirements for large-scale crystal composites (e.g., greater than 100-200 mm in dimensions) that can be manufactured within reasonable time frames. A method of making an optical composite comprises providing first and second components to be bonded along respective surfaces, treating at least one component over at least a portion of the respective surface, and thereafter, bringing the first and second components into optical contact for bonding along the surface having the treated layer. Treating can include one or more of processing the component to provide a porous interface layer, processing the component to form a pattern of channels on the surface to be bonded, and providing an optical coating on the surface to be bonded.
