摘要: Embodiments of the invention provide a composition for shielding radiation, including 100 parts by weight of a first resin including one or more selected from the group consisting of a polyurethane resin, a polysiloxane resin, a silicone resin; a fluorine resin, an acrylic resin, and an alkyd resin; 5 to 30 parts by weight of a second resin including one or more selected from the group consisting of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), medium-density polyethylene (MDP E), high-density polyethylene (HDPE), and low-density polyethylene (LDPE); 5 to 30 parts by weight of a polyether ether ketone (PEEK) resin powder; 5 to 80 parts by weight of a metal powder; 1 to 70 parts by weight of a metal oxide powder; 1 to 50 parts by weight of paraffin; 5 to 15 parts by weight of a boron compound; and 10 to 50 parts by weight of a carbon powder. Accordingly, a fiber complex, protective clothing, and the like including the composition for shielding radiation of the present invention includes a PEEK resin without use of lead, and thus, may shield even neutron rays as well as radiation, such as alpha rays, beta rays, proton rays, gamma rays, and X-rays.

摘要: Methods for producing a stretch film are provided, including disposing one or more extruders in fluid communication with a stock of virgin resin; heating the virgin resin to a molten state; delivering the molten virgin resin to a die; and extruding the molten virgin resin through the die onto a casting roll, thereby creating a cast stretch film. Methods for delivering the molten virgin resin onto a casting roll of varying sizes and set temperatures; and of moving a resulting film onto a secondary chill roll of varying sizes and set temperatures, are also provided. Finally, methods for moving the film from either the casting roll or the secondary chill roll onto a slitting assembly, dividing the film using one more interior or exterior slits, and then capturing and gathering the trim waste but not reintroducing the trim waste back into the production process are also disclosed.

摘要: A protrusion/recess structure in which fine particles will not drop easily and which will not be deformed easily is provided, and a producing method for the same is provided. In the protrusion/recess structure (porous film), protrusions or recesses (fine corrugations) are formed in a surface. The protrusion/recess structure is formed from plural fine particles and an amphipathic high molecular compound having a catechol group. The high molecular compound at least partially coats a surface of the fine particles, to adhere the fine particles to one another. A diameter of the recesses is larger than a diameter of the fine particles. Cast film is formed from solution containing the fine particles and the high molecular compound having the catechol group. Condensation on the cast film is performed, and organic solvent and water droplets created by the condensation are evaporated to produce the protrusion/recess structure.

摘要: A bimodal bioabsorbable polymer composition. The composition includes a first amount of a bioabsorbable polymer polymerized so as to have a first molecular weight distribution; a second amount of said bioabsorbable polymer polymerized so as to have a second molecular weight distribution having a weight average molecular weight between about 10,000 to about 50,000 Daltons, the weight average molecular weight ratio of said first molecular weight distribution to said second molecular weight distribution is at least about two to one; wherein a substantially homogeneous blend of said first and second amounts of said bioabsorbable polymer is formed in a ratio of between about 50/50 to about 95/5 weight/weight percent. Also disclosed are a medical device, a method of making a medical device and a method of melt blowing a semi-crystalline polymer blend.

摘要: The present invention relates to a slip prevention pad and a method of manufacturing the slip prevention pad. The method includes coating emery with a rubber-metal adhesive and then drying the adhesive-coated emery; kneading a raw rubber with a rubber reinforcing material and a vulcanizing agent to prepare an unvulcanized rubber; mixing the adhesive-coated emery with the unvulcanized rubber to obtain a mixture; introducing the mixture into a rubber molding machine to vulcanize and mold the mixture to obtain a rubber product; and cutting the rubber product. The slip prevention pad may effectively prevent slipping on a slippery road surface such as a snowy road or an icy road.
