    Abstract: Embodiments of this disclosure provide a user input device, such as a gaming controller, for providing input to the information handling system while executing the applications. The user input device may include a three-dimensional lighting structure, which bends across many faces or surfaces of the user input device while providing a uniform light emission. The lighting structure may be used to convey an instruction to a user, such as a direction to turn the device, convey information to the user, such as flashing to indicate a notification, and/or used to convey application feedback, such as flashing or changing lights based on events occurring in the application.

    Abstract: A lighting module for a refrigeration appliance has a housing provided with a light outlet. The housing includes a supporting edge surrounding the light outlet and an inner frame disposed along the supporting edge. The inner frame protrudes from the supporting edge in a direction away from the light outlet. The housing further has a light source. The light source includes a light emitting element and a substrate bearing the light emitting element. The light guide plate is supported on the supporting edge and includes a first end surface protruding toward the inner frame. The housing includes a mounting portion located in a space defined by the first end surface of the light guide plate, the supporting edge, and the inner frame. The substrate is mounted on the mounting portion, so that the light emitting element and the first end surface of the light guide plate face each other.

    Abstract: The present application is suitable for the field of instrument, and provides an instrument knob backlight structure and an instrument, wherein the instrument knob backlight structure comprises a housing, a knob provided outside the housing, a index dial provided on the periphery of the knob, and a backlight module mounted inside the housing and provided adjacent to the index dial, wherein the backlight module comprises a light source component, a light-transmittable element and a light guide provided between the light source component and the light-transmittable element, and the index dial is provided on the outer surface of the light-transmittable element facing outward of the housing. The present application emits light through the light source component and conducts and irradiates the light ray emitted by the light source component to the light-transmittable element through the light guide, so that the light ray can pass through the light-transmittable element to generate a uniform backlight at the index dial. In this way, operators can clearly see the identification character on the index dial and the directing position of the knob in a dark environment, so that operators can still use the instrument in a dark environment and it is beneficial to improving the aesthetic appearance of the instrument.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a display panel, an operating method thereof and a display device. The display panel includes first substrate and second substrate disposed opposite to each other, liquid crystal layer disposed between first substrate and second substrate, orthogonal polarization layer disposed on a side of first substrate facing towards liquid crystal layer, and first absorbent layer disposed on a side of first substrate facing away from liquid crystal layer. When no electric field is loaded, both liquid crystal layer and orthogonal polarization layer transmit light with first polarization direction. When electric field is loaded, liquid crystal layer converts incident light with first polarization direction into emergent light with second polarization direction which is orthogonal to first polarization direction, and the orthogonal polarization layer reflects the light with the second polarization direction. The first absorbent layer absorbs the light incident thereon.
