Abstract:
A glue scraper mechanism includes a first detection unit and a glue scraper assembly. The first detection unit is electrically connected to the glue scraper assembly. The first detection unit is configured to acquire protrusion and recess information of a wall. The glue scraping assembly is configured to be able to adjust a glue scraping thickness according to the protrusion and recess information.
Abstract:
A sealing blade includes opposite elongated edges (30, 31) and between them a flat (32) and which is adaptable to a blade holder (17) arranged in a coating applicator (25) of a coating device (21) and into contact with a moving surface (11′). The sealing blade has a contact surface (33), which may be arranged against the moving surface and which is 5-15% of the width (W) of the sealing blade (10).
Abstract:
The present invention provides a substrate double-surface hole-filling apparatus for carrying out a hole-filling operation on a substrate which has a first surface and a second surface, comprises a first feeding device, a first scraping device, a first drying device, a second feeding device, a second scraping device, a second drying device and a turnover device. The substrate double-surface hole-filling apparatus has a turnover device turning over the substrate which needs to be carried out with hole-filling operation. Therefore, the substrate double-surface hole-filling apparatus can automatically carry out the hole-filling operation on two surfaces of the substrate without manual turnover of the substrate, thus improving production efficiency.
Abstract:
An adhesive or other viscous liquid applicator apparatus utilizes a cylindrical glue roll and a reverse acting notched metering or doctor blade which forms, from an initial liquid layer on the roll, a series of laterally spaced liquid beads of metered size. The beads are subsequently spread to form a liquid layer for transfer to a web or other surface moved into generally tangential contact with the roll. The beads are preferably spread by a flexible spreader blade, but may also be spread by operating the peripheral surface of the roll and the web or surface in contact therewith at different speeds. The notched doctor blade provides accurate metering with a mechanically simple apparatus and the formation of beads helps prevent premature drying of the liquid.
Abstract:
A device for applying a free-flowing medium to a continuously conveyed web, wherein the medium can be transferred to the web by a continuously rotating transfer (gravure) roll. An application head is provided in order to transfer the free-flowing medium to the circumference of the gravure roll. The application head includes a chamber which is open toward the circumference of the gravure roll and has an inlet and an outlet for the medium to be applied. The front outer face, in the direction of rotation, of the chamber is delimited by a front doctor blade and the rear outer face, in the direction of rotation, is delimited by a rear doctor blade. Both doctor blades are seated against the circumference of the gravure roll. The front doctor blade can be pressed against the circumference of the gravure roll by a pressing body with an adjustable pressing force.
Abstract:
A process and system for applying coating materials to glass edges of various profiles. The glass edge is coated by picking up the coating material from an applicator such as, for example, a roller, through precise independent or relative control of the spatial relationship between the edge of the glass article and the applicator to achieve desirable product attributes such as coating thickness, profile, coverage areas and consistency. Such spatial relationships include the gap distance between the roller and applicator, coating thickness on the applicator, applicator and/or glass speed, and the like.
Abstract:
A doctor blade head for coating a transfer roller includes a semi-cylindrical cavity to enable streamline fluid flow therethrough, and check plates at the inlet and outlet openings for permitting unidirectional flow into the inlet opening from said pump and out of the outlet opening toward the pump. An hydraulic accumulator acts as a fluid pressure and fluid velocity balancing device, and includes a rolling diaphragm piston moving in a cylinder that is connected to the inlet fluid path, with a spring impinging on the piston to absorb pressure surges and compensate pressure dropoffs.

Abstract:
A web transport system for transporting a web of media along a web-transport path including a fluid bar for guiding the web of media, and a scavenger blade positioned downstream of the fluid bar. A liquid is pumped through holes in an exterior bearing surface of the fluid bar, thereby pushing the web of media away from the fluid bar. The scavenger bar includes a blade edge facing the first surface of the web of media, the blade edge being spaced apart from the first surface of the web of media by a gap distance. The scavenger blade removes at least some liquid from the first surface of the web of media as it passes by the scavenger blade, thereby reducing the amount of liquid that is carried along to portions of the web-transport path that are downstream of the scavenger blade.
