摘要: The present invention relates to an apparatus for conducting assays on samples and/or processing of samples. The apparatus comprises a rotatably arranged cylindrical sample holder for holding a sample at a lateral surface of the cylindrical sample holder. The cylindrical sample holder is configured to be at least partly covered by a liquid layer. The apparatus further comprises a liquid dispensing means configured to add liquid to the liquid layer, a reagent dispensing means configured to add a reagent to the liquid layer and a liquid contacting means configured to distribute liquid within said liquid layer. The liquid contacting means comprises a plate-like element flexibly assembled in relation to the cylindrical sample holder. The present invention also relates to a method for conducting assays on samples and/or processing of samples.

摘要: A coating device for supplying a liquid to a substrate, particularly in the form of an optionally printed web, foil, strip or sheet, comprises a reservoir for holding a quantity of liquid. A coating assembly is provided which is able and configured to take liquid from the reservoir and transfer it to the substrate. A supply delivers the liquid into the reservoir during operation. The supply is controllable and is able to lead a constant liquid flow into the reservoir. The reservoir is provided with a level detector capable and configured to detect a liquid level in the reservoir. Provided between the level detector tools and the coating assembly is a control which controls the coating assembly during operation on the basis of a detection (LS) of the liquid level in the reservoir in order to maintain the liquid level at a fixed value.

The chamber includes, at each of the two axial ends of the chamber, a wall separating the chamber from a cavity. The wall has a wall surface arranged to face the transfer roller when the device is in use. The wall is dimensioned so that the wall surface will be distanced from the transfer roller when the device is in use, so as to allow fluid to be present in a gap between the wall surface and the transfer roller.

摘要: There is disclosed a method of printing onto the surface of a substrate, which method comprises i) coating a donor surface with a monolayer of particles, ii) treating the substrate surface to render at least selected regions tacky, and iii) contacting the substrate surface with the donor surface to cause particles to transfer from the donor surface only to the tacky regions of the substrate surface. After printing on a substrate, the donor surface returns to the coating station where the continuity of the monolayer is restored by recovering with fresh particles the regions of the donor surface exposed by the transfer of particles to the substrate.

摘要: Provided is a technique capable of evenly smoothing powder supplied to the surface of a supply member. A powder coating apparatus includes a pair of press rollers, hoppers, and squeegee rollers disposed such that prescribed gaps are formed between the squeegee rollers and the press rollers, and adjusting thickness of the powder by smoothing the powder supplied to each outer circumferential surface of the press rollers. The powder coating apparatus presses the powder, smoothed by the squeegee rollers, between the press rollers to form compressed powder layers on both the surfaces of the web. The squeegee roller is formed in a column having an axis being parallel to the outer circumferential surface of the press roller and being orthogonal to a moving direction of the outer circumferential surface of the press roller.
