The step of covering the fastener assembly with the permeable body comprises at least partially compressing the permeable body against the fastener assembly and transferring a portion of the volume of the liquid from the permeable body to an exposed outer surface of the fastener assembly and to a ring on the substrate, surrounding the fastener assembly.

摘要: A dispenser (10) for dispensing a flowable material M has a container (12) having an outer wall (20) and membrane (14) collectively defining a first chamber (22) configured to contain the flowable material M. The membrane (14) has a thickness and a weld seam (40) wherein the weld seam (40) has a thickness less than the thickness of the membrane (14). A fracturing mechanism (16) is operably connected to the container (12). The fracturing mechanism (16) has an extending member (64) projecting from the outer wall (20) of the container (12). The extending member (64) has a projection (66) positioned proximate the membrane (14), wherein in response to deflection of the extending member (64), the projection (66) deflects the outer wall (20) proximate the membrane (14) wherein the weld seam (40) fractures creating an opening (41) through the membrane (14) configured to allow the flowable material M to pass therethrough and from the dispenser (10).

摘要: A fluid application device for applying a fluid to a surface and removing the same as necessary. The device may generally comprise a fluid applicator and a textile base member for sanitizing gym equipment, wiping windows, applying sunscreen, and the like. The fluid applicator may comprise a spray applicator, a permeable bladder, and the like. The textile base member may include but is not limited to a hand towel, a wristband, and any other known textile configurations. In one embodiment, the present invention may be used by gym patrons to sanitized gym equipment before and/or after use. The present invention may also be used to clean other surfaces including but not limited to household windows, vehicle windows, and the like. Additional embodiments of the present invention may also be used either to apply sunscreen on a user or as a fishing towel to clean hands and remove odor.

摘要: The invention relates to means and methods for the disinfection of an insertion channel to prevent in particular catheter sepsis, which significantly reduces the carry-over of germs even out of deeper skin layers by means of medical instruments, such as catheters, to be introduced into non-natural openings and also permits the decontamination of perioperatively contaminated medical instruments. The disinfection of the insertion channel is achieved by means of a method for the perioperative coating of a medical instrument to be inserted into an invasively produced opening before use, comprising the application of a viscous or foam-like composition containing at least one anti-infective compound, preferably a gel having octenidine, by means of an applicator, such that when said gel is used, the composition is also specifically effective in the first millimeters of the insertion channel. Furthermore, an immediate disinfecting action is provided over the entire coated surface.

摘要: An automated primer application system for producing attachment parts for means of transportation is disclosed. The system comprises an output reel, a take-up reel, an application head with a nozzle opening, and a high-pressure waterjet-consolidated polymer-cellulose nonwoven. The high-pressure waterjet-consolidated polymer-cellulose nonwoven is guided from the output reel over the application head to the take-up reel. The high-pressure waterjet-consolidated polymer-cellulose nonwoven is arranged in front of the nozzle opening. A primer liquid can be fed through the nozzle opening such that the primer liquid can be applied to a surface of a part via the polymer-cellulose nonwoven.

In operation, the pump drives liquid from the reservoir into and through the pipe while the power source causes the heating element to heat the liquid passing through the portion of the pipe adjacent to the heating element to be expelled from the outlet at a temperature greater than the ambient temperature.
