摘要: A casing of an aircraft turbomachine includes an annular shell extending around an axis A and made of a composite material having fibers that which are woven and embedded in a resin. An annular layer made of abradable material extends inside the shell, around axis A and is obtained by spreading and polymerizing a paste. Support panels extend around axis A and are interposed between the shell and the abradable layer.

摘要: This manufacturing method is a method of manufacturing a compressed strip-shaped electrode plate. The method includes: a preliminary compression step of forming a pre-compressed strip-shaped electrode plate by roll-pressing an uncompressed strip-shaped electrode plate in which an uncompressed active material layer that is not yet compressed is formed on a current collector foil; an attraction and removal step of attracting and removing fine particles of active material particles from near a surface of a pre-compressed active material layer by an attracting magnet that is disposed so as to be separated from the pre-compressed active material layer in a thickness direction; and a main compression step of obtaining the compressed strip-shaped electrode plate by roll-pressing a particle-removed strip-shaped electrode plate from which the fine particles have been removed.

摘要: An electronic core for a metal card, such as a transaction card, having a metal core and a cured polymer top surface, is manufactured by a process in which a two-part polymer mixture is introduced to a reservoir holding the metal core in a process chamber, and then a partial vacuum followed by pressurization with inert gas are used to reduce the volume of voids in the partially-cured polymer mixture, followed by curing outside of the process chamber, and then the top surface is removed by a treatment operation, such as milling or etching, to form a reduced upper surface with less surface irregularities which is more substantially plan the original top surface.

摘要: A spray system and method for selectively applying fluids onto workpieces traveling on a conveyor. A support frame proximate the conveyor supports plural platforms sequentially arranged in the direction of workpiece travel on the conveyor, each platform being above and extending across the conveyor width. Plural carriers are sequentially disposed on each platform across the conveyor width. Each carrier has a nozzle module connected to a source of fluid, a lateral drive enabling bi-directional movement of the carrier across the respective platform and a swing drive for rotating the nozzle module about a swing axis orthogonal to the direction of workpiece travel. A programmable controller coordinates the lateral and rotational orientation of nozzle modules of each carrier and the flow of fluid through the respective nozzle modules to achieve a desired pattern of fluid application onto workpieces traveling on the conveyor.

The substrate having the polyelectrolyte complex applied thereon is treated. The treating reduces salt content of the polyelectrolyte complex. The treating results in a gas-impermeable coating being formed on the substrate.

摘要: A method applying a bead of a coating product to a surface by a print head equipped with nozzles, each centered on a central axis, the coating product application moves the print head and the surface relative to each other, by moving the print head along a fixed trajectory relative to the surface without rotating the print head about an axis parallel to the central axes of the nozzles. The method includes selecting certain nozzles for a point of the trajectory based on the trajectory direction at this point, and activating the selected nozzles at this point. The selected nozzles are arranged in a line, or form part of a nozzle group delimited by a line, whose regression line coincides with a line as close as possible to a line perpendicular to the trajectory direction from among lines that can be defined with nozzles of the print head.

摘要: A thermoplastic prepreg includes a mat, web, or fabric of fibers and hollow glass microspheres that are positioned atop the mat, web, or fabric of fibers or dispersed therein. The thermoplastic prepreg also includes a thermoplastic polymer that is fully impregnated through the mat, web, or fabric of fibers and the hollow glass microspheres so that the thermoplastic prepreg has a void content of less than 3% by volume of the thermoplastic prepreg. The thermoplastic material is polymerized monomers and oligomers in which greater than 90% by weight of the monomers or oligomers react to form the thermoplastic material.

摘要: A system for manufacturing a thermoplastic prepreg includes a double belt mechanism that is configured to compress a fiber mat, web, or mesh that is passed through the double belt mechanism, a resin applicator that is configured to apply monomers or oligomers to the fiber mat, web, or mesh, and a curing oven that is configured to effect polymerization of the monomers or oligomers and thereby form the thermoplastic polymer as the fiber mat, web, or mesh is moved through the curing oven. The double belt mechanism compresses the fiber mat, web, or mesh and the applied monomers or oligomers as the fiber mat, web, or mesh is passed through the curing oven so that the monomers or oligomers fully saturate the fiber mat, web, or mesh. Upon polymerization of the monomers or oligomers, the fiber mat, web, or mesh is fully impregnated with the thermoplastic polymer.
