摘要: A patient transport apparatus with a seat assembly to support a patient. A rear assembly pivots between first and second rear positions, and a stair rear position. A ski is selectively pivotable relative to the rear assembly between a plurality of ski positions. A carrier is coupled between the rear assembly and the ski and is operable between: an unlocked state where relative movement between the ski and the rear assembly is permitted, and a locked state where the carrier inhibits relative movement between the ski and the rear assembly. Movement of the rear assembly from the first rear position towards the second rear position changes operation of the carrier from the unlocked state to the locked state such that continued movement of the rear assembly into the rear stair position arranges the rear assembly and the ski for engagement with stairs.

摘要: A patient transport system is provided. The patient transport system includes a patient transport apparatus, which includes a seat section and a back section for supporting the patient, and a patient containment system. The patient containment system includes a lower strap, an upper strap having a front end coupled to the lower strap and a back end, and a coupling system to facilitate releasable attachment of the patient containment system to the patient transport apparatus. The coupling system includes a latch coupled to the back end of the upper strap, a coupling bracket configured for removable attachment to the back section of the patient transport apparatus, and a keeper operatively attached to the coupling bracket and configured to removably receive the latch to retain the upper strap together with the latch relative to the coupling bracket.

摘要: A patient transport apparatus for transporting a patient along stairs. The patient transport apparatus includes a support structure including a rear support assembly and a track assembly extending from the support structure. The track assembly includes a rail extending between a first and second rail ends. The track assembly further includes a roller adjacent to the first rail end, a motor supporting a pulley adjacent to the second rail end, and a belt supported in engagement with the roller and the pulley. The track assembly further includes a lateral brace operatively attached to the rail and defining a brace configured to abut at least a portion of the belt to retain the belt in engagement with the roller for limiting lateral movement of the belt relative to the rail occurring in response to force acting on the belt between stairs and the roller during operation of the motor.

摘要: A patient transport apparatus operable by a user for transporting a patient along stairs. A seat section is coupled to a support structure. A track having a belt is attached to the support structure and is arranged for selective operation between: a retracted position, and a deployed position to engage stairs. A drive system with a motor is disposed in rotational communication with the belt to control movement along stairs in the deployed position. A user interface us arranged for engagement to selectively adjust operation of the drive system between: an active state for controlling movement of the belt with the motor, and an inactive state. A braking controller is configured to sense movement of the belt in the inactive state, and to control the motor to limit movement of the belt in the inactive state to effect corresponding limited movement of the patient transport apparatus along stairs.

摘要: A patient transport apparatus operable by a user for transporting a patient along stairs. A seat section is coupled to a support structure supporting a track assembly having a belt. A motor selectively generates torque to drive the belt. A user interface is arranged for engagement by the user, and has a direction input control for selecting a drive direction of the motor, and an activation input control for operating the motor to drive the belt. A controller in communication with the motor and the user interface is configured to limit operation of the motor in response to user engagement of the activation input control preceding engagement of the direction input control to prevent driving the belt, and to permit operation of the motor in response to user engagement of the activation input control following engagement of the direction input control to drive the belt in a selected drive direction.

摘要: A patient transfer apparatus configured to traverse stairs includes a seat assembly, a rear leg pivotably coupled to the seat assembly, a track integrated with the rear leg, and a wheel coupled to a distal end portion of the rear leg. The seat assembly includes a frame with a seat portion. The rear leg is pivotable relative to the seat portion between a transport position and a stair traversing position. In the transport position the wheel is configured to contact a floor, and in the stair traversing position the track is configured to contact the stairs.

摘要: When a vehicle body is on board an escalator, a control device makes an ejection determination by use of an external sensor. The control device makes an ejection determination by use of front-wheel rotation sensors. The control device makes an ejection determination by use of an inclination detecting unit. The control device switches a control mode from a boarding control mode to an ejection control mode, when at least one of the above three ejection determinations is affirmatively made.
