    Abstract: Rear lower control arm (5) for a motor vehicle including a top part (5t) and a bottom part (5b) defining together a hollow volume (5h), the top and bottom parts (5t, 5b) each including respectively a top and bottom first hole (17t, 17b) and a top and bottom second hole (19t, 19b), wherein the top and bottom parts (5t, 5b) are joined together by securing together at least part of said top and bottom horizontal surface outer peripheries (5tho, 5bho), at least part of the top and bottom first hole side walls outer peripheries (17tso, 17bso), at least part of said top and bottom second hole side walls outer peripheries (19tso, 19bso).

    Abstract: A vehicle-body front structure includes front side frames in a pair, sub-frames in a pair, lower arms, and action members. Each sub-frames is provided with first and second coupling portions, an action-member fixation portion, and a recess. The coupling portions rotatably fix a corresponding one of the lower arms. The action-member fixation portion is provided between the coupling portions and rotatably fixes a corresponding one of the action members on the vehicle upper side of each sub-frame. The recess is fitted to the corresponding action member. The fixation portion of each action member is fitted to the recess of the corresponding one of the sub-frames. Each action member is fixed at the action-member fixation portion and the second coupling portion to the corresponding sub-frame and is fixed at the second coupling portion to the corresponding sub-frame by being fastened together with the corresponding lower arm.

    Abstract: A lightweight vehicle includes a pair of rear wheel assemblies, one or more front wheel assemblies, a universal assembly platform, and forward facing seating. The universal assembly platform includes a main vehicle chassis, a front suspension system coupled to the main vehicle chassis and to which the one or more front wheel assemblies is mounted, and a rear suspension system coupled to the main vehicle chassis and to which the pair of rear wheel assemblies is mounted. A front distal end of the one or more front wheel assemblies is longitudinally forward of a front end of the main vehicle chassis. The forward facing seating is mounted to the main vehicle chassis such that a portion of a seat bottom of the forward facing seating is located longitudinally rearward of an axis extending through a center of the pair of rear wheel assemblies.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a chassis component having a base body, wherein the base body has an opening for passing through a fastening means and two guide elements for guiding an eccentric element are arranged on opposite sides of the opening, wherein the guide elements are formed in one piece and using the same material of the base body of the chassis component by mechanical processing and each have a back side and a contact side facing the opening, wherein the contact side is formed orthogonally to the base body.
