    摘要: Disclosed is an apparatus for treating the surface of a material in a gas plasma generated by microwave discharge. The apparatus comprises a microwave generator, a waveguide for transmitting the microwave generated from the microwave generator, a closed vessel housing a material to be treated, means for introducing a gas into the closed vessel, means for withdrawing the gas from the closed vessel, an antenna means inserted at least partially into the closed vessel, said antenna means serving to pick up the microwave from the waveguide and to deliver said microwave into the closed vessel for producing a gas plasma, and a cylindrical body formed of a microwave-transmitting material, mounted to the closed vessel in an air-tight fashion, and surrounding the antenna means at the portion inserted into the closed vessel.

    摘要: An apparatus for forming a thin organic film on a substrate which includes a reaction chamber for receiving a substrate on which a thin organic film is to be formed; a microwave discharge tube for supplying the reaction chamber with a carrier gas activated by microwave discharge; a microwave-generating mechanism provided with a hollow resonator for a microwave discharge; and a mechanism for supplying a carrier gas to the microwave discharge tube and a mechanism for supplying the reaction chamber with an organic compound monomer to be polymerized. That region of the microwave discharge tube where a plasma is produced by discharge does not extend to the reaction chamber, but is completely separated therefrom.

    摘要: Prior to engaging a male screw formed on the outer circumference of a second member with a female screw formed on the inner circumference of a hole in a first member, protruding parts which protrude outward in the radial direction and are positioned at one end side of the male screw in the axial direction are formed in a plurality of regions which are separated from each other in the circumferential direction on the outer circumference of the second member on which the male screw is formed. The male screw is then engaged with the female screw from the other end side of the male screw in the axial direction. The torque required to rotate the male screw engaged with the female screw in the loosening direction is set so as to be greater in a state where the protruding parts are interposed between the male screw and the female screw than in a state where the protruding parts are not so interposed.

    摘要: This invention provides a composite reverse osmosis membrane having a polyamide type skin layer whose average surface roughness is at least 55 nm, and the polyamide type skin layer comprises the reaction product of a compound having amino groups and polyfunctional acid halide compound having acid halide groups. The composite reverse osmosis membrane of this invention is superior in salt rejection and water permeability. A polymer film is formed on a supporting film by contacting a solution containing e.g., m-phenylenediamine with a porous polysulfone supporting film so as to form a layer of the solution on the supporting film, then contacting the film with a solution of trimesic acid chloride and holding the film in a hot air dryer so that a polymer film is formed on the supporting film. The surface of the polyamide type skin layer can also be treated with quaternary ammonium salt and coated with a crosslinked layer of an organic polymer having positively-charged groups. Raw liquid is transmitted from a raw liquid tank to a membrane module for the first stage through a first transmission pump, and the first stage of reverse osmosis treatment is carried out. The composite reverse osmosis membrane coated with the crosslinked layer is used when another reverse osmosis treatment is carried out by using another membrane module for the second stage.
