Abstract: A device and method for intuitively optimizing the size of a displayed visual content on a rollable display device, wherein either the visual content is optimally scaled to current dimensions of a front screen, or a touch-sensitive display is rolled to a required extent that optimally displays a best possible aspect ratio for the visual content after obtaining a permission using an input gesture, such as a multi-touch “spread” or “pinch” gesture. The touch-sensitive display can further be rolled manually between a rolled-in and rolled-out state using “shake-to-roll” movement gestures.

Abstract: Monitoring an operational characteristic of a data communication device within a network includes sampling an operational characteristic of the data communication device at a fine-grain sample rate over a first sampling interval to produce fine-grain samples of the operational characteristic of the data communication device, training a machine learning algorithm using the fine-grain samples of the operational characteristic of the data communication device, the fine-grain sample rate, and a coarse-grain sample rate that is less than the fine-grain sample rate, sampling the operational characteristic of the data communication device at the coarse-grain sample rate over a second sampling interval to produce coarse-grain samples of the operational characteristic of the data communication device, and using the machine learning algorithm to process the coarse-grain samples of the operational characteristic of the data communication device to produce accuracy-enhanced samples of the operational characteristic of the data communication device.

Abstract: A method of bearer deletion is provided to improve the universality of the bearer deletion process. The method includes: receiving, by the original intermediate NE, the cancellation type indication parameter sent by the HSS, and deleting the bearer between the serving gateway (S-GW) and a packet data network gateway (P-GW), if the original intermediate network element obtains an attach type according to the cancellation type indication parameter indicating an attach type and a corresponding bearer exists on the original intermediate NE. This method helps efficiently improve the universality of the bearer deletion flow.
