摘要: A projection optical unit comprises a frame, a projection lens, a dichroic prism for synthesizing red image light, green image light and blue image light, and three liquid crystal display panels for red, green and blue. A lens mounting portion on which the projection lens is mounted, a prism mounting portion on which the dichroic prism is mounted, and three mounting surfaces on which the three liquid crystal display panels are respectively mounted are formed in the frame. The projection lens, the dichroic prism, and the three liquid crystal display panels are mounted on the frame. The three liquid crystal display panels are mounted through a focus adjusting mechanism comprising a belleville spring and a screw. The two liquid crystal display panels for red and blue are further subjected to CG adjustment (adjustment for matching pixels of the liquid crystal display panels for read and blue with pixels of the liquid crystal display panel for green) by an eccentric screw.

摘要: A two-dimensional image which is constitute by a plurality of frame images which are continuous in time is taken as an image for one eye, while a two-dimensional image obtained by shifting the frame image by N frames (N includes zero and is not fixed), thereby to produce a three-dimensional image. For example, the two-dimensional image is not changed, that is, the frame difference (N) is adjusted to "0" with respect to a portion of the two-dimensional image whose content is not easily converted into a three-dimensional image, while the frame difference (N) is adjusted to (N) larger than (N) for a normal three-dimensional image with respect to a portion of the two-dimensional image whose content is very easily converted into a three-dimensional image, thereby to give further three-dimensional feeling to a viewer as well as reduce the fatigue of the eyes of the viewer.

摘要: In an apparatus wherein an infrared sensor is incorporated opposite to an opening formed at a predetermined position of a housing, a distance keeping member for keeping a constant distance from a temperature measuring portion is further mounted on another predetermined position of the housing, and an output signal from the infrared sensor responding to the infrared rays from the temperature measuring portion is supplied to a temperature measuring circuit whose operational state is selected by a temperature measurement control switch, and the temperature of the temperature measuring portion is displayed on a display unit which is driven by the output signal from the temperature measuring circuit.

摘要: A transparent conductive film is formed on a glass substrate covering substantially its entire surface area and this transparent conductive film is divided into a plurality of transparent conductive parts per each photoelectric converting region. The photoelectric converting region is of a nearly rectangular shape, and accordingly, in order to divide the transparent conductive film into respective transparent conductive film parts, a laser beam is irradiated along all longitudinal and lateral sides of the rectangle. Thereby, the transparent conductive film parts corresponding to the photoelectric converting regions are formed as island regions. Semiconductor film parts are formed on the transparent conductive film parts divided into island regions corresponding to respective photoelectric converting regions and subsequently aluminum film parts are formed on these semiconductor film parts. Transparent conductive film parts are electrically connected to aluminum film parts of adjacent photoelectric converting regions. Thus, a photovoltaic device is manufactured wherein a plurality of photoelectric converting regions are formed on the substrate and respective photoelectric converting regions are connected in a series fashion.

摘要: The present application discloses a sunlight-into-energy conversion apparatus in which at least one amorphous silicon solar cell having a thickness thin enough to permit the sunlight to pass therethrough is formed on the surface of a heat collecting plate attached to a heating medium tube in a thermal conductive manner, thereby permitting the sunlight to be effectively converted into thermal energy and electrical energy.When a plurality of such amorphous silicon solar cells are formed on the surface of the heat collecting plate through insulating films, respectively and connected in series to each other, high electromotive force may be obtained.

摘要: An electrostatic motor for use as a power generating mechanism to be mounted on a micromachine includes a rotatable semiconductor substrate and a drive electrode disposed in proximity to the substrate. The semiconductor substrate is doped with a specified impurity element to form electromagnetic wave-static electric converters of p-n junction. When the motor is to be started, the converter in the vicinity of the electrode is irradiated with electromagnetic waves to set up an electric field between the opposed surfaces of the converter and the electrode to rotate the substrate by an electrostatic force due to the electric field.
