摘要: A milling insert includes a polygonal tubular insert body which has: rake faces on one polygonal surface thereof, flanks composed of circumferential surfaces adjacent to the polygonal surface, and cutting edges defining a ridge line where the rake faces and flanks intersect each other as cutting edges. The rake faces have serrations where mount portions and valley portions are arrayed alternately to intersect the cutting edges. The ridge line has a waveform shape when the flanks are viewed from above. Bottom portions and top portions of the waveform are formed into concave circular arc portions and convex circular arc portions, respectively, and are alternately repeated. Both of the concave and convex circular arc portions are a ¼ circular arc or more to a ⅓ circular arc or less. Each of the concave circular arc portions is unevenly located between the convex circular arc portions adjacent thereto.

摘要: A drill includes a cutting edge having a ridgeline. The ridgeline has a part of an ellipse and a straight line. It is assumed that the coordinates of a separation point of an ellipse portion from a straight line portion are (x0, y0). The straight line is a tangent to the ellipse at the separation point. It is assumed that a1 is an area from a tip end of the drill to x0, a2 is an area from x0 to the origin of the ellipse, and a3 is a negative area, along the x-axis. The ridgeline of the cutting edge is formed straight along the tangent in the area a1, and is formed along the ellipse in the area a2. A margin is formed in the area a3 continuously from a relief face of the cutting edge.

The sleeve removal tool has a first fastening member and a second fastening member. The first fastening member has a first contact surface and inner screw section, and is formed in a cylindrical shape. The first contact surface comes in contact with the flange of the sleeve all around one ring shaped surface. An inner screw section is provided such that it protrudes in the axial direction from the first contact surface. The second fastening member has a second contact surface and outer screw section, and is formed in a cylindrical shape. The first contact surface comes in contact all around the other ring shaped surface of the flange.

摘要: A recording medium printed out by an image forming section is ejected to an ejection unit provided at an upper portion of an image forming apparatus. This ejection unit owns an inclination portion which is obliquely formed and has both a lower edge and an upper edge. At least a portion of a developer storage space is arranged in an area “A” which is surrounded by this inclination portion, a horizontal plane extended from the lower edge of the inclination portion, and also, a vertical plane extended from the upper edge of the inclination portion.

摘要: A method of quickly and accurately inspecting the stitching accuracy at which regions of a lithographic pattern are stitched at boundaries. The numerous regions of the lithographic pattern are exposed or drawn, one at a time. Inspected regions are scanned with a charged-particle beam to detect secondary electrons. The obtained signal is stored as an inspected image in an image memory, together with positional data about the inspected regions. After completion of acceptance of image from all the inspected regions, the inspected image is compared with a separately prepared reference image by an image processing unit. Pattern elements in the inspected regions corresponding to the reference image are extracted. Deviations at field boundaries or the like can be detected from the relative positions of these pattern elements, if any.

摘要: A drill includes a pair of main cutting edges extending from a distal portion of the drill to a position close to a proximal end of the drill to entirely define a two-edge configuration, and a pair of auxiliary cutting edges extending between positions at the distal and proximal sides of a maximum diameter position to partly define a four-edge configuration. A ridgeline of each auxiliary cutting edge is located within an angle smaller than 90° from a ridgeline of the corresponding main cutting edge toward the rear in a rotation direction of the drill. The point angle of the auxiliary cutting edges increases at a higher rate than the point angle of the main cutting edges in a predetermined range from the maximum diameter position toward a distal end of the drill.
