Abstract:
A clutch actuator structure provided for an internal combustion engine and a hydraulic clutch mechanism for transmitting a rotational driving force of a crankshaft of said engine includes a clutch actuator for controlling an oil pressure for engaging and disengaging the hydraulic clutch mechanism. The clutch actuator structure ensures that noises generated at the times of operation of the clutch actuator for actuating a hydraulic clutch are prevented from being transmitted to the exterior. The clutch actuator structure includes an oil sump part for reserving oil provided in the periphery of a clutch actuator. The clutch actuator is disposed in the oil sump part.

Abstract:
A radiological imaging apparatus of the present invention comprises an image pickup device and a medical examinee holding device that is provided with a bed. The image pickup device includes a large number of radiation detectors and radiation detector support plates. A large number of radiation detectors are mounted around the circumference of a through-hole and arranged in the axial direction of the through-hole. The radiation detectors are arranged in three layers formed radically with respect to the center of the through-hole and mounted on the lateral surfaces of the radiation detector support plates. Since the radiation detectors are not only arranged in the axial direction and circumferential direction of the through-hole but also arrayed in the radial direction, it is possible to obtain accurate information about a γ-ray arrival position in the radial direction of the through-hole (the positional information about a radiation detector from which a γ-ray image pickup signal is output). The use of accurate information about γ-ray arrival increases the tomogram accuracy. As a result, the present invention enhances the tomogram accuracy, that is, the PET examination accuracy.
Abstract:
The degradation of a feeling of ride is prevented by preventing engagement/disengagement (sudden engagement/disengagement) of a motorcycle hydraulic clutch due to a lack of hydraulic pressure. Before a hydraulic sensor issues a hydraulic pressure-lowering detection signal Sx, an oil level sensor issues an oil level-lowering warning signal Sf in a state wherein a sufficient oil quantity is such so as not to bring an neutral drive switching clutch into a disengagement state is present even if hydraulic pressure lowers resulting from an inclined oil level due to sudden deceleration, sudden start, drive in a slope, or the like. Thus, the neutral drive switching clutch can be prevented from disengaging or engaging (suddenly disengaging or engaging).
Abstract:
A blower includes two contrarotating axial fans located to be rotated reversely with each other in accordance with rotations of its rotation shafts arranged on an axial line. In the blower, a rotation drive shaft of a motor is coupled to the rotation shafts of the axial fans through a gear portion, and the gear portion is housed in a gear box. Each of the axial fans includes a boss portion having a recess shape opened in an axial direction of the axial fan, and a plurality of blades located radial outside of the boss portion. Furthermore, the axial fans are located such that the recess shapes of the boss portions are opposite to each other, and the gear box is located between the boss portions of the axial fans, and is covered by the boss portions from two sides in an air flow direction of the axial fans.
Abstract:
An electric fan system has a first electric blower 10, which utilizes a brushless motor, and a second electric blower, which utilizes a brushed motor, for distributing the cooling air to the radiator and the condenser. The system has an electronic engine control unit which activates only the first electric blower when it determines that the cooling water temperature is less than T2, and activates both the first and second electric blowers when it determines that the cooling water temperature is T2 or higher. The water temperature is based on a detection output from a cooling water temperature sensor. Thus, since the electric blower is not activated unless the cooling water temperature becomes T2 or higher, use of the brushed motor is limited and its life is increased.

A grip is used for a mechanical pencil including a shaft tip portion, a core guide, and a core. This grip is formed into a tube-shape. The grip includes a tip portion, a base portion, and a spacing portion. The tip portion has a tip and a through hole portion and is shaped into a conical-shape so that a diameter thereof is reduced towards the tip. The base portion has a predetermined inner diameter such that the shaft tip portion of the mechanical pencil is treed into the base portion. The spacing portion is formed inside the tip portion and houses the core guide and the core. The core is movable in and out of the tip portion via the through hole portion.
Abstract:
A vehicle cooling system including a motor control apparatus that controls operation of a system motor when a cooling fan driven by the motor locks due to foreign matter interference or freezing. When motor input current is detected to be overcurrent, the controller limits the current flow. When current flowing to the electric motor is detected to be overcurrent and ambient air temperature is at or above a predetermined temperature, the controller stops energization of the motor. Thus, when the cooling fan freezes and locks, energization of the motor is maintained until ambient air temperature reaches or exceeds the predetermined temperature. Therefore, when the frozen-locked state is eliminated due to a subsequent temperature rise, an ordinary operating state can again be obtained without the controller subsequently detecting surge current, generated as a result of the motor being re-started from a fully stopped state, as overcurrent and therefore incorrectly stopping motor energization. Additionally, when locking occurs due to foreign matter interfering with fan rotation, an overcurrent state is detected even when ambient air temperature is at or above the predetermined temperature, and motor energization is immediately stopped.
