Abstract:
The invention is directed to a pallet container assembly with a thin-walled rigid inner container of thermoplastic material for the storage and transport of liquid or flowable contents, including a cage-like bar frame closely surrounding as support jacket the inner plastic container, and a bottom pallet for placement of the inner plastic container and secure attachment of the support jacket, wherein there are provided, within the support area of the inner plastic container on the surface of the bottom pallet optionally on the surface of an intermediate plate, respective means (form-fitting means/frictional connection means) which—as viewed in the direction of the horizontal plane—result in a substantial increase of the slip resistance between the downwardly pointing outer surface of the bottom pallet or the intermediate plate.
Abstract:
A pallet container for the storage and transport of liquid or free-flowing goods, includes a thin-walled inner container of thermoplastic material, a tubular lattice frame closely surrounding the inner plastic container in the form of a support jacket, and a bottom pallet upon which the inner plastic container rests and with which the tubular lattice frame is securely fixed. The inner plastic container includes for withdrawal of liquid goods at the lower side, approximately in mid-section in a side wall near its bottom a blown, calibrated tubular pipe for allowing attachment of a closeable discharge fitting which is fixedly welded with its tubular housing to the calibrated tubular pipe of the inner container.
Abstract:
An identification plate for a pallet container includes a plate body for placement upon a lattice frame of a pallet container. The plate body has an upper edge, which is bent rearwards at a first angle for attachment to an upper horizontal rod of the lattice frame, a lower edge, which is bent rearwards at the first angle for attachment to a lower horizontal rod of the lattice frame, and opposite lateral edges extending between the upper and lower edges and bent rearwards at a second angle which is greater than the first angle. Each of the lateral edges ends at its rear in a rolled edge and is formed with terminal recesses for receiving the upper and lower horizontal rods. The rolled edge is hereby sized to project with its ends in a rod-like manner into the recesses to engage behind the upper and lower horizontal rods.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a method and a device for producing blow-molded plastic hollow bodies. The device is of an enhanced design which avoids the shortcomings of traditional blow-molding technology. The extrusion die according to this invention is adjustable for different settings to produce different, partly overlapping wall thicknesses of the parison blank in order to compensate for the insufficiencies inherent in blow-molding and to obtain a finished blow-molded product with as consistent and uniform a wall thickness as possible, with an overlay, for instance in vertical wall sections, of evenly spaced longitudinal ribs. A technical concept is introduced whereby, as a novel process, the two conventional measures used to achieve a uniform wall thickness in the finished blow-molded hollow body are complemented by an additional, third step which makes it possible to produce containers whose hollow bodies are provided with targeted, intentional and reproducible irregular wall-thickness patterns.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a plastic pallet (10, 32) in a stable and torsionally rigid box-like construction for storing and transporting goods. The upper plate (12) is provided on its underside with ribs (14). Closed side walls (24), each having two recesses (26) for engagement by the carrying forks of a fork lifter, and the spacers (16) to which a thin base plate (20) is welded are formed in a single piece with the upper plate (12). In the base pallet (32) for a pallet container are formed a collecting trough (40) in the center of the upper surface (34) and a supporting ledge (32) extending at the outside around the circumferential area.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a large-capacity stackable drum with a substantially cylindrical sidewall and top and bottom ends. To improve the stackability in particular the long-term stackability an internal hydrostatic pressure which supports the side wall is initially produced, when stacking several drums one on top of the other, in the gas space above the content and in the contents, of the drums stacked underneath, by virtue of the elastic flexibility of the top and/or the bottom of the drum, until a reduced stacking load acting through the top rim or grip ring of the drum into the drumwall is produced or support provided through the bottom rim or grip ring.
Abstract:
Device for blow molding a hollow body with a blow molding device in which at least two solid flange rings are molded in the circumferential wall of the hollow body from the same thermoplastic synthetic material of the hollow body. The flanges are formed by compressing and fusing the material with a tandem slide. The movable slide parts travel unlike distances at unlike speeds of movement.
Abstract:
A bunged vessel of thermoplastic material having outward projections at the upper edge of separately prefabricated carrying and transport rings for the prongs of an engaging handling means. The head surface of the wall of the vessel projects at a distance beyond the tip edge of the associated carrying and transport ring, and the wall portion extending from the point of attachment of the ring to the associated head surface of the vessel being conically inclined to the vertical centerline of the vessel.
Abstract:
In an axially extending extruder head for producing a thermoplastic tubular member, the material to be extruded is first supplied into a pair of annular first passageways spaced apart in the axial direction of the head, these passageways extend obliquely of the head axis. From the first passageways the material enters an axially elongated annular second passageway extending between the two first passageways. An annular third passage, extending transversely of the head axis, conveys the material from the second passageway into an axially extending feed passageway from which the material is extruded through the nozzle end of the head. The first, second and third passageways can be located in different parts of the extruder head.
