Abstract: A modular produce crate has four side panels, a base panel and abase having a quadrant of upper surface corner base connectors. Each side panel defines an interior base panel channel, a pair of side panel corner connectors extending below the channel and side panel interfacing edges above the channel. Adjacent pairs of the side panel corner connectors plug into each respective corner base connector to enclose the channels around the base panel to hold the base panel and adjacent interfacing edges thereof are fastened together. As such, the base panel is held fast by the engagement of the side panel connectors within the respective base connectors thereunderneath and by the fastened interfacing edges of the side panels thereabove.

Abstract: The present application discloses an assembled unit having a locking mechanism, comprising a pair of lateral guide rails, a pair of class I plate members, a spine member and at least one eccentric rotation member. Each of the lateral guide rails is configured with a sliding groove along a direction of extension thereof. Both ends of each of the class I plate members can be inserted into the sliding groove of the corresponding lateral guide rail. Both ends of each of the lateral guide rails are respectively configured with an engaging structure. The spine member is configured with a raised sliding block along its direction of extension. On a surface of each of the type I plate members, a class I engaging slot is configured in a direction parallel to the lateral guide rail, the class I engaging slot opening at a side of the class I plate member.

Abstract: A foldably constructed pallet includes a top member forming a top surface of the foldably constructed pallet and a bottom member forming a bottom surface of the foldably constructed pallet. The bottom member includes, extending from the bottom surface, a plurality of outer sidewalls, and a plurality of internal sidewalls. An outer sidewall of the plurality of outer sidewalls and an internal sidewall of the plurality of internal sidewalls cooperate to define a cradle configured to hold a structural insert such that folded panels of the structural insert may be engaged with each of the outer sidewall and the internal sidewall. The top member may be connected to the bottom member and covering the cradle.

Abstract: Aspects of a pallet assembly are disclosed including two engagement stringers having a plurality of perpendicular stringers therebetween and engaged, end to end, to each engagement stringer, and one or more inert support surfaces supported thereby. The one or more support surfaces are a plurality of top slats supported and held directly by the frame comprising the stringers and the engagement stringers. The top slats include a structure that is complementary to a feature defined by the frame and that allows the top slats to mate with and be held by the frame. The pallet assembly demands fasteners for assembling the frame; however, in at least one aspect, the pallet assembly of the present disclosure also demands fasteners for attaching the top slats to the frame. In another aspect, the stringers and the engagement stringers each comprise one or more target inserts for reinforcing the frame of the pallet assembly.

Abstract: A pallet comprising upper and lower platforms connected by a plurality of blocks. The upper platform includes a plurality of upper platform pedestals and the lower platform includes a plurality of lower platform pedestals. The lower platform pedestals are aligned with the upper platform pedestals such that the lower platform pedestals and the upper platform pedestals extend towards one another. The plurality of blocks interlockingly engage with and extend between the upper and lower platform pedestals to connect the upper and lower platforms. Each block includes an upper recess and a lower recess. The upper recess matches the shape of and receives one of the upper platform pedestals. The lower recess matches the shape of and receives one of the lower platform pedestals. The upper platform, the lower platform, and the plurality of blocks are made of a polymeric material.

Abstract: A pallet includes a top deck and a bottom deck. The top deck has spaced apart upper and lower surfaces, with the lower surface having upper tower openings therein. Spaced apart support blocks are coupled between the top and bottom decks and forming a gap therebetween for receiving a lifting member. Each support block includes an outer wall enclosing a center area, and a core structure having a rectangular shape within the center area, with upper surfaces of the core assembly and the outer wall being coplanar. An upper tower extends outwards from the core structure and into a corresponding upper tower opening in the top deck so as to provide a shear load transfer during impact with the lifting member. First ribs are between the outer wall and the core structure, and second ribs are within an interior area of the upper tower.

Abstract: A pallet includes a top deck and a bottom deck, and spaced apart support blocks coupled between the top and bottom decks and forming a gap therebetween for receiving a lifting member. Each support block includes a mid-section having spaced apart upper and lower surfaces, an upper tower extending from the upper surface of the mid-section, and a lower tower extending from the lower surface. The upper towers are inserted into corresponding upper tower openings in the top deck, and the lower towers are inserted into corresponding lower tower openings in the bottom deck.
