Abstract: A pallet includes a plurality of supports supporting a floor. The supports each include a plurality of columns integrally-molded with at least one runner and snap-fit to the floor. At least one wall is moveable between an upright position and a collapsed position on the floor. A hinge connecting the wall to the base includes a first axis and a second axis offset by the first axis. The hinge is locked when the wall is in the upright position to prevent rotation about the second axis but permit rotation about the first axis. A hinge assembly connects a door to the wall and includes a first hinge pin and a second hinge pin. The hinge assembly permits the door to open completely relative to the wall to a position at least substantially parallel to and adjacent the wall.

Abstract: A collapsible storage container is provided that incorporates a latch mechanism for maintaining the storage container in a non-collapsed configuration during use. The storage container includes a generally flat base having at least first and second support posts extending from corresponding corners of the base. A removable panel is receivable between the first and second support posts and a first pin element projects laterally from a first side of the panel. A plate is positioned adjacent the first support post and includes a recess therein for receiving the first pin element therethrough. The recess is partially defined by an upper edge at a predetermined angle to the axis of the first support post for limiting vertical movement of the first pin element received in the recess.

Abstract: A modular container or bin with preferably four identical sidewalls held in place by four identical corner posts, with the sidewalls and corner posts both connected to a common base palette. The sidewalls are removably connected to the corner posts by interlocking slip joints. This slip joint configuration also removably connects the sidewalls to the base palette. The corners are secured to the base palette using four plastic bolts. The base palette has cutouts, to define feet and to provide for forklift (or other lifting devices) arm access in at least two directions. The sidewalls can also be designed for lifting by a claw lifting apparatus. The corner posts include a notch to allow cables to be secured during transportation. The container is designed primarily for the storage and transportation of agricultural products, though other uses are also possible.
